Tumblr

At some point I have to wonder, if you're watching so many blogs that you can't keep up with them all, what's the point of watching all those blogs in the first place rather than picking and choosing a few that you can be sure to watch?

Not everyone can remember every blog they enjoy and manually check them every day. The whole point of being able to follow a blog is so you don't have to keep track of it yourself.

eh. because I'm not always interested in everything every single blog has to say? and my interests change a lot. I like being able to go from Marvel to fairytales to social justice and back again. if I really want to check what a person's said last, I can go the blog itself.

also, my browser stops loading stuff after a certain point when I go down my dash. I could probably change it to the page-by-page view, but I don't really want to.

...and I queue a lot, so it's good to have a lot of sources to queue from.

Reached a hundred followers earlier today. I feel rather happy since it means that people find my blog good enough to follow(of course, their are probably some bots following me but still).

Bots or no bots, it's always fun getting new followers to bolster your follower number.

I do like new followers. I just, you know. Am hoping that the porn blog doesn't expect me to follow back, cause that's not happening...but it's been a couple years now so if they haven't figured it out that realization is probably a long time coming. ^note  ba dum tish

It can get more akward. There are folks who had porn actors follow them on Tumblr. Not random porn blogs but actual, professional porn stars. Some of them well-known.

The idea of a porn star following my blog weirds and interests me.

Porn stars actually film porn only like once or a few times a week, because they gotta spend the rest of the time keeping up with their looks, exercising, cleaning up, recovering, and tending to other things. Male porn stars make more films than females.

Well, yeah. Porn acting, in the best possible scenario, is just the same as acting, except with, y'know, sex. Like, I see no more reason to think all porn actors spend every day of every week fucking than I do to believe the same of film or TV actors.

Of course, there are plenty of shitty directors who do expect that from their actors, but not every director.

It's just like acting, huh?? ..... I may be missing something. Acting is PRETTY BAD in porn. lol

Well, if you think about it for a while, it certainly seems more... tiring than regular acting.

i for one am enough of an attention whore to accept any followers.

It does probably take a good degree of athleticism and commitment.

I just have dental clinics for some reason. Well I mean I have legitimate followers but I get random stuff like dental clinics and fashion blogs. Okay I did selfie my outfits somewhat when I had tablets so I guess not totally random.

I've had a couple fashion blogs follow and then unfollow or disappear later.

I've also got someone who makes bongs (how they found me I don't know since I don't post any pot-related anything) following my main blog and a Pokemon shop following my sideblog. That one's understandable though since I post a lot of Pokemon stuff.

And I've got some random porn blog that I never followed back and they've been there over a year now.

I really can't see a reason why a dental clinic needs a tumblr. Advertising? Maybe? Maybe keep a close eye on their patients?
