Considering that the post is in all caps, some exaggeration is assumed. Plus, thirteen year old boys tend to be bothered by being called anything but a big manly man.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Hey, I like him too. He has some great lines.
I don't know if I did. I think I always thought that masculinity was kind of overrated. Though perhaps I didn't quite understand what that entails back then...
Oh God! Natural light!Mm. Maybe a bit less specific: they want to be treated as adults.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Now that I think I can relate to. Doubt I deserved it, but I still would think that being called a "little kid" would be unnecessary.
And surely that isn't exclusive to boys?
Oh God! Natural light!Every kid wants to be treated as an adult.
That is, until they actually become an adult and decide they liked life better when they were a kid.
Hear, hear.
It is sometimes an appropriate response to reality to go insane.Yeah, I was just applying it to the case.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Did they change how you ignore users? Because I was trying to find that feature but I couldn't find it. I had to retort to flagging before I could finally ignore a troublesome blog. Good job Tumblr.
It's still in Settings>Account
That still means that I have to go click two buttons and then write the name of the blog before clicking once more just to ignore one blog. Tumblr pretty much removed a perfectly good quick ignore button for no good reason.
It's actually faster to just flag someone to ignore them than to go through that. It's not good design.

Of all the things Tumblr is, well-designed is not one.
eh. I like being an adult better than being a kid. Mostly cause I have control over my life where I didn't before. even if there are parts of it that suck, and I get to own stuff that I might not necessarily want, it's still, like, mine. It's nice not having to live your life by anyone else's rules.
ophelia, you're breaking my heartDoes anybody else utterly despise the head bar that Staff rolled out last year? It's kinda annoying that it follows the reader downward while they scroll. You see, it wouldn't be so bad if we didn't have full size images to look at, but the problem here is that the headbar obscures everything you look at. That means that no matter where you are on the dashboard, pictures will always be cut off at the top.
Feel free to ask me what I'm talking about if you don't understand; I don't feel like I did a very good job of explaining what I mean.
H.B. WardSo...what's this "Blackout" thing I've heard about on Tumblr? I'm a little confused by it, and haven't really heard much.
Oh God! Natural light!Black tumblrites posting selfies tagged "#blackout" is pretty much it. Like a show-of-numbers, stand-up-and-be-counted kinda thing, I think. No idea if the date's significant.
A brighter future for a darker age.Yeh, it's kind of sweet when you think about it. I know it has made a lot of people happy. And plus, attractive people ended up on my dash, so I'm not complaining.
I think the date was picked arbritrarily though.
Read my stories!Ah, thought it was something like that. Yeah, that sounds nice.
...I could've sworn I heard something about stricter requirements, though.
Oh God! Natural light!Well it wasn't meant to be a movement, it just exploded into one.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.@Pyrarson, I hate it too. I have the dashboard set to pages instead of infinite scroll, so it's particularly useless for me because I can easily scroll back up if I need to access anything on the header. Coincidentally, this is also why xkit guy is great.
I don't use many xkit extensions but I do have the one that forces the header to stay at the top of the screen and also restores it to the original width (not the whole screen width).
Tumblr here.Thank you, thank you so much, merciful user, for understanding me, and for suggesting that I use xKit. Whatever that is, I anticipate it, for it may very well be the light at the end of the tunnel.
H.B. Wardxkit is the best forever.
if i met the xkit guy i would buy him a whole pizza
ophelia, you're breaking my heartHeh. One thing I can say about Tumblr is that the Pokemon fandom produces absolute gold on a regular basis.

I love to learn, I love to yearn, and most of all... I love to make money.
Are you ready for another "Random Things on Tumblr that Bug Karkat The Dalek"?
No you're not, but I'm doing it anyway.
So... I'm definitely not knowledgeable enough to talk about the actual topic there. What actually caught my eye is the use of the phrase "tiny little child". Now, I don't know if they're talking about a thirteen year old like they do later but if they are - and this is just something that bugs me, I'm not trying to turn this into a big issue - ...I would've hated it if someone called me that when I was thirteen, or even a few years younger. And I'm pretty sure I've seen it used in similar contexts before. If I had to guess (and I could be wrong here), maybe it's being used to emphasize innocence? If so...I feel like the horrific actions being talked about ought to speak for themselves? I don't know, I personally would have found it condescending? What do you guys think?
