Alright, I guess if we can't get anyone to face off against General Wilkes, we'll start in Eastern Europe. Before then, though, I need to establish what each side is capable of in specifics, so as to prevent godmoding.

The Western Federation is pretty much purely scientific, while the Eastern Alliance is almost purely magical. However, Magic A Is Magic A, and all WF weapons will be well defined. Battle will soon commence, but we need to set some rules in stone first.

You said that my unit is well trained and battle hardened, in other words, i generally have experienced people, right?

In that case, how about this: my troop is specialized in gravity, lightning and barrier magic; slow to advance, but fast to regroup. And... i can't think of anything else right now.

Yes, they are the most experienced unit in the EA. The rest sounds good to me.

Now we need to establish the abilities of the 1st Infantry Division.

I was thinking, when I'm done gathering the Western Mages maybe I'll get my General to be the founder of the Magic Knight Corps.

Highly talented mages in blue robes, enchanted armor, carrying magic shields on their left hand which produce a defensive barrier and on their right hand staffs crafted to cast magic missiles as efficiently as possible.

These would be the backbone of my little Armed Forces, quite capable of defending with their shields vital points and Artillery grade spell casters. They would move in using some kind of Phallanx formation joining their shields as the march onto the enemy or to resist enemy attacks.

How does that sound GM?

Officially, General Yuuki, your HQ is in Greece and thus vulnerable. However, as a General, you are restricted from actively leading your forces, and yes you command via your subordinate field officers.

^^ Nothing important, but you seem to go for a style that resembles mine. Maters not, it resembles it, yet is different. What elements will you go for?

^ Wait, that means i can't lead my forces from the front lines? Cuz i want to do that. Won't engage in the fight myself much, but i still want to be there, too many quick-timed decisions.

^^ I see. That's very informative.

I shouldn't have used the word "lead", I was thinking more about directing and overseeing the operation.

Since Scandinavia is a little bit far from Greece I was wondering if I should make another General to direct there or if one of Yuuki's subordinates would be adecuate to the task.

Still now that I know the answer I don't mind directing the operations in Scandinavia.

^ I went for what I thought would be a cool magic army to deal with forces fueled by SCIENCE. My magic knights would be supported by the high power spellcasters (Either whole groups of Mages working on a single spell or single gifted Mages able to rain death on their enemies). Maybe some big Golems and a wyvern division.

^^ The 125th is a well-rounded unit. As such, it possesses a number of attack aircraft and fighters. However, your primary force is land-based, so keep that in mind. You have the ability to use massive air power to deter the enemy, but you must use ground forces to finish the job, General Wilkes.

^ As long as they can only be on the field temporarily, the Norse Gods are fair game, General Yuuki. As is the Greek Pantheon. However, the Abrahamic God is deemed far too powerful, and is thus disallowed.

Okay, so let's look at my ground forces. What kind of APC's, tanks, you know, the good stuff. Do we have arty (artillery)? What equipment would my soldiers have?

You have artillery, both land based and orbital systems. Your APCs are able to carry ten troops at a time and come standard with deflector shields and repulsorlift systems, enabling transit at speeds up to 200 kilometers per hour. Your tanks are three man vehicles similar to the TX-130 Sabre-class. All of your units use energy weapons: regular soldiers using plasma weapons, designated marksmen using laser weapons, snipers using rail guns and most vehicles having a combination of laser weapons and missiles. Your land based artillery is composed of extreme range electromagnetic rail guns with ranges over four hundred miles.

I'm still figuring out what my troops will be composed of (I'll post that later), but how could Mu mention Final Fantasy and not mention airships? I think that they would be a great additon for the EA's forces in place of airplanes. They could be all-natural (keeping with the EA's theme), and be run with/protected by/armed with magic, maybe with some of those conventional weapons systems on the side.

So, what do I have access to in my fleet? Also, are we allowed to make suggestions, because I have a few ideas from C&C.

(Also, I think I'd be and Admiral rather then a General, considering I'm running a fleet rather then an Army.)

Well, Johnson, you're also in command of a Marine Division, but I guess it doesn't matter much. *changes rank title from "General" to "Admiral"* And go right ahead, make suggestions. I'm open.

I just thought of something.

Maybe all higher ups of the Western front have people that take care of disposing of their hairs, nail and such.

Why? Cause I imagine a group of Eastern cultist with the hair of a Western General and using it to curse the General to have a constant and horrible stomach ache. Or just outright curse him to death.
