Just saw For Your Ice Only. It was awesome. There was lots of funny jokes (including a call back to football X7, the disposable cameras and the Canadian bacon), but what I really liked was just how enjoyable the whole thing was. Bonus points for giving Stacy and Jeremy decent screen time! Speaking of Stacy, the reveal that she and Ginger were sisters was priceless.

Yeah, a great premiere. but i feel making the song a spoof of Football x-7 went a bit too far. also why have django IS HE'S NOT GONNA TALK?! //

still it was pretty cool

So look, ginger is Stacy's sister. I almost died for how interesting this revelation was.

I am not sure why, but nothing really clicked with me in this episode. Maybe I am empty inside.

Disposable cams were funny because in my country they were NEVER a thing. We transitioned from normal cameras to digital cameras directly.

I liked how candace said everything that Stacy was saying to Ginger. Also, did anyone else find it wierd that Ginger was wearing her fireside girl uniform instead of normal clothes?

Two seasons down, one season and a movie to go.

And "Intimate Get Together" is stuck in my head now.

Hope Doof's invention falls on the guy instantly after that.

Edit: Stacy went with Chad in the secret of Success, which I think is the episode that is paired with Doof side, so I guess that's an acceptable mistake.

Eh, not exactly too fussed about it - only romance I even care about these days is Phineas/Isabella, if that can even be called proper romance (and a lot of the reason I like it is from the humour factor). I enjoyed the episode. Had lots of funny moments, but the best part was definitely the song. Loved how we finally got another Candace/Jeremy kiss - I honestly expected more kisses after S Bt Y. XD Irving and Norm were probably the funniest characters ("There is no such place as Internet-land" - I smell potential meme), though funniest moments for me were the Isabella mentioning kissing towards Phineas (oh, and WTF were those flirty eyes when he had no romantic intentions? XD) and Perry and Doof dancing with each other at the end. Also, two Baljeet/Ginger moments? Wow. And Candace's outfit was kinda neat - gah, what is happening to me? :V

EDIT: From the show's YMMV page: "Is Isabella the typical girl next door? Or is she an Alpha Bitch Jerkass that will be mean and belittle anyone who isn't Phineas? Her behavior regarding Buford and Baljeet in recent episodes tend to push her into the latter role." Uh, anyone care to explain? I haven't noticed any of that behaviour, and any I noticed I think would've been justified in some way.

So everyone was dancing with designated couple, except for Monogram and Carl and Perry and Doof. Or maybe, really, everyone was dancing with designated couple.

The highlight is mocking new year resolutions. Otherwise an inconsequential episode.

[up]Basically someone with issues added that entry.

The Coltraine thing was so unneeded. F that guy, really. F him!

Exactly! And..it just hit me that that coltrane thing is fridge brilance, since this takes place after the summer, and in time stacy could have gotten over her ways and scored him. i'm still angry!

Saw the new years episode. very funny and the ending was sweet. a few things

1. the coltrane thing is addressed...in a non-speaking cameo so my point still stands

2. love stacy's outfit!

3. Irving has a podcast...this is interesting

4. NORM/AIR CONDITIONER OTP

Just realised something about Phineas - his struggle to express his creativity didn't just show up out of nowhere in Bully Bromance Breakup. I remembered that in I, Brobot, he and Ferb created all of the androids specifically because he had too many ideas to express. Not sure if this was just something I put together or the writers actually remembered this.

Did the new opening sequence have a nod to the park in CCS?

Also, where did Candi's curves come from all of a sudden? (Compare her dress to Stacy's.)

I put this on Twitter, but I'll go ahead and say it here: Did anyone else feel like everyone...aged? Like 2-3 years? Because I sure got that impression from the animation, especially during "Hockey Z-9". The kids seemed ganglier than normal.

And also the aforementioned Candace and Stacy by Robbie. But of course, I knew he would notice that.

The reason that Candi's body is radically differently shaped in different clothes is of course that she is the narrator.

If something makes her feel sexy, then she'll look sexy in it. We're seeing her through her own eyes.

Now if Phineas was the narrator, then Candi would float through the series with wings and halo, occasionally pausing the strumming of her harp to gently inspire Phineas, and push him towards the next major breakthrough. And when he achieves anything, no matter how modest, she'd sing his praises, especially to their mom.

Yeah, either he's a romatic troll, or he is taking Master of the Mixed Message Up To Eleven. Or maybe dropping giant balls from outer space is his idea of a romantic night. :V

Regarding the aging of the characters, yeah, I noticed Candace. I will point out that this isn't the first time she has looked curvier. But yeah, it was more promenant this episode (and to add to the fire, she is covered in hockey wear and a Winter jacket in Fy IO). With the other characters... didn't notice anything with the kids except Django, who looks taller, and I can't tell if Stacy is a bit curvier or it's just her dress.

Wow, what an odd thing to talk about...
