Is it just me, or does anyone else find it hard to think of Fate and her role in the first season's story without thinking of the song "Take a Shot"?
I think most people associate Fate with that; it also establishes precedent for the next two series.
Nana Mizuki Fate's insert song —> Asskicking forthwith.
I don't.
Well, see, I admit to obsessively rewatching that one scene where Fate wakes up in bed (ep. 12 or so?) a few times after finishing the series.
Hence the song is burned into my head.
Why that one scene? I mean, it's a good scene, but what in particular draws you to it?
Play Again? Y/NMost likely because it's one awesome scene of character development for Fate. I also think it proves that she has a strong personality.
Too good that there are even better scenes in A's.
I haven't seen As.
Also, that scene because it's very emotionally intense. Emotional intensity seems to be something that appeals to me.
Fate finally hits a breaking point when Precia throws her into the psychological garbage bin, and you can see the dejection in Fate's eyes. And then she regains her confidence in herself.

Yes, you should change that.
Sorry. There's Mai-Hime, Angelic Layer, Voltron, and probably Spice and Wolf lined up before it.
And Rocket Girls and Stratos 4 if I can get my hands on them.
Not to mention schoolwork, starting in about 10 days.
Son of a bitch, a Nanoha fighting game? Damn that looks awesome. If Nanoha fights were lacking in anything, it was fast-twitch flowing action that looks like it's gonna show up in that game, if the scenes of Fate wailing on Nanoha with Bardiche were anything to go by.
My Blog thingAre you talking about the promotional video for the forthcoming PSP game and the movie I linked to in an earlier post?
I think there's another Nanoha fighter doing the rounds, but it's a doujin crossover called Magical Battle Arena...I don't know how good that is.

Play Again? Y/NYeah, I am. Surprised no one talked about it, as it looks awesome.
My Blog thingWell it was only advertised at this year's Comiket (where I think the footage comes from), so I think it's to capitalise on the theatrical release of the Nanoha movie.
Play Again? Y/NHaving finished Princess Tutu, I'd have to say that Fate's season 1 character arc had already been done better with Kraehe.
This show seems a lot less wow-amazing to me a few months later.
Pfft. Weeaboos. e_e
In the "Side F" CD, Fate has to answer to the same question and she also begins by saying how Nanoha was beautiful the first time she met her and that it was her straightforward nature that made Fate like her.

Where's that quote from?
Play Again? Y/NThis is why I always try (though not necessarily successfully) to wait a while after experiencing a work of art before passing judgement on its quality. Well, I try.
In the "Side F" CD, Fate has to answer to the same question and she also begins by saying how Nanoha was beautiful the first time she met her and that it was her straightforward nature that made Fate like her.
HEAD, HIT, DESK
Have you ever fallen asleep, and dreamt of stuff that might happen in the show later? Not like "psychic", more fantasy here.

Oh come on, it's not like none of us ever tried convincing you about this!
I don't remember dreaming, per se (I've dreamt about FFVI before though), but I do sometimes zone out and daydream. I tend to marathon shows over the weekend, anyway, so there isn't really much for me to speculate over.
Bits of shows sometimes replay themselves in my dreams, though.
Play Again? Y/NNo, see, the head hit desk part is due to my awareness that those elements come not from the creators trying to make things in the universe make sense in-character, but rather from the creators trying to cram as much pandering to fans as possible.
...If Nanoha and Fate being together doesn't make sense in-character to you, I question just what version of Nanoha you were watching.
My Blog thingWell, Fate's "beautiful, sad eyes" were the reason Nanoha wanted to help her in the first place, I think.
It may be for fanservice, but I don't think it's out of character, at least.
