This bacon is awesomeThis is true.
I need your halp! I am in the final week. I haven't advanced on the dungeon. I have Hermit on 9, but I cant find the Big Fish. Also, I have Temperance in 8, Priestess in 7 and Lovers in 8. Which one should I try to complete? How can I distribute the 6 days that I have left?
This bacon is awesomeIf you're on the last week, I think Priestess and Lovers are closed off except for Sunday, so you can't max them. Use the nighttime to fish for the Hermit, and use an FAQ and Save Scumming to get the right fish (it's hard). Keep in mind that maxing Hermit will take two days, but they can be any two days (and you'll need to spend two nights fishing). Hermit's probably the only one you can max, though.
ALMSIVIOh, we have a thread for this game. This game sounds cool. I asked for it for Christmas.
One tip before you start playing on Christmas: Shadow Yukiko suddenly transforms you into a giant mass of HATE on your first playthrough.
ArisenOr create a Cu Sith with Null Fire. Normally I don't like giving boss battle spoilers, but Shadow Yukiko is an exception.

This bacon is awesomeDon't play on Easy; Shadow Yukiko is the only hard boss for a long time. Instead of Cu Sith, you can also fuse a Senri, which will null fire on its own.
Kanji on the other hand...
This bacon is awesomeHuh, Shadow Kanji gave me no trouble. And Shadow Yukiko was kind of tricky, but doable. It was Shadow Mitsuo that made me want to hurl my controller.
Mitsuo. That may have been the coolest fight in the game.
A question: Can I go to the Velvet Room and complete The Empress in March 2012? Also, are all of the girlfriends´ dates implying what I think they are?
Arisen"Don't play on Easy; Shadow Yukiko is the only hard boss for a long time. Instead of Cu Sith, you can also fuse a Senri, which will null fire on its own." Oops, I got the ability names confused. I was referring to Cu Sith's Red Wall ability, to keep Chie from getting knocked down. Though I think Red Wall can be fused onto Senri if done right.
So, I ask: which girls do you think are better as just friends and which ones as girlfriends? From what I´ve done, I think that most them get better development in "just friends", but I may be wrong, I never finished Lovers nor Moon. Also, those meddling animesque teenagers!◊
Rune KnightMy first playthrough have Yukiko as the MC's girlfriend, while every other dateable girls stay as friends. Heck, I even choose the option that started Ai's Lovers route, but rejected her because I view Souji to be understanding and man enough to reject her gently. I personally like how Naoto's friends route turns out, too.
Arisenhttp://www.giantbomb.com/news/giant-bombs-game-of-the-year-2009-day-one/1805/ The game was so long it lasted them well into 09, which is why it won the best 2008 game of 2009. Oh and watch the P4 Endurance Run, only if you've beaten the game of course.
World's only robo-JewPersona 4 was easier in some aspects and harder in others. The dungeons are harder since you don't regenerate SP and HP when you return to the bottom floor, but you can warp to the most recently visited floor. The game really took some things and made them harder, and took others and made them easier, so it's just as hard as Persona 3, but in different ways. I beat it a couple weeks ago and I have to say it was an excellent game. Not as many cutscenes as I would have liked.
Rune Knight... Not as much? What game are you comparing Persona 4 to? Compare to Persona 3, it got more cutscenes to me.
I think he meant animated cutscenes...but still, they are in WAY higher quality than Persona 3's, so I think it dosen;t reallly matter how MANY there is.
DeadIIRC, Persona 4 has less Anime cutscenes than Persona 3, but Persona 4´s are much higher quality.
Suzuyeah, the graphics in p3 were dark and grey~~ loved p4 graphics and smooth animation. the VA is also MUCH better (damn you fuuka) btw, anyone beaten margaret yet?
ArisenI forgot to. :(
DeadYou can only do that after Heaven in the second playthrough, right?
