Then again, she perhaps saw it as a way to escape from being the weak person she saw herself as. Who knows?
It's a real shame- The Kanamin Kitchen girls are pretty intensely characterized for the short time they have on-screen, but we don't get much follow-up on it.
I sure said that!Which Persona is this?
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!Dancing All Night, believe it or not.
I sure said that!I made a huge mistake and prepared my very own Aiya-style Rainy Day Beef Bowl- I even waited for the weather to be right.
It was costly and I couldn't finish it but my personality has grown tremendously.
I sure said that!Nice. The internet is a silly place. In a good way!
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien. It helps that it's a legitimately good recipe if served in portions meant for human beings.
I sure said that! You made me hungry.
Also, I could totally eat that no problem.
You know, do you guys think that maybe Franchise.Shin Megami Tensei Persona page could use some tropes what are series-wide?

Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!Oh, and P5 now is confirmed to be coming to Europe instead of just dancing around the subject so I'm leaving the thread.

I finished watching Persona 4: The Animation after spending a few days binging it from the start. I remember my original opinion of it being a mediocre adaption of the game, and dropped it after the Shadow Yukiko fight while it was first airing in Japan. Now that I've seen the whole thing, including episode 26, I want to admit that I enjoyed some things.
- Yu was decent as a blank slate turned main character. His involvement in the King's Game being a favorite of mine.
- Aika's character was never boring. All her scenes were good.
- The boss fights are actually pretty cool and in some ways inventive.
- The dub voice for Adachi. I loved how Johnny Young Bosch made his Adachi voice so different to his Yu voice, even in their final fight when he switches to his Izaya voice for Adachi.
So overall, I'd give it a 5/10-6/10.
I don't see what problem everyone had with the Persona 4 anime.
I thought it was great.
Clearly, I'm the only sane person on the internet as usual.
One Strip! One Strip!Bad pacing and terrible animation.
Like, I thought it was serviceable and had some legit funny moments, but I would've liked if a better Studio had the reins on it.
I supposed it depends on how forgiving you are of the game compression and its effects on the pacing.
As someone who watched the anime before playing the game, it was fine, I guess I understand why some people had issue with the pacing though, especially at the end.
I don't remember much about the anime except that the social links were rushed and the main characters left all the fighting to their personas. And also that they made a version of Yu that you can't actually play, which kind of pisses me off.
If you didn't play game first, I don't see any reason for someone not to like The Animation more than I did. And yeah the cast not fighting with weapons does bug me as well.
The P4 animation is what got me back in to watching anime. I personally really liked it, but I acknowledge it had it's flaws.
I still go back and watch the finale sometimes, it inspires me.
I only watched the game on Youtube, but I still thought the anime was fine.
....The Golden Anime on the other hand, I could have done without.
One Strip! One Strip!I enjoy a few parts of both P4 anime series as supplements to the game, at least- In particular, the B-side of the summer vacation story starring Nanako was a personal favorite.
Also, they got Meguro to do the music, so that alone justifies it some.

I sure said that! You know, the anime did succeed completely in one fashion. It got me to buy the game early in its run.
Which led to said unfavorable comparisons but not the point!
I think I skipped all the anime padding scenes with Nanako. I just don't really like her.

Agreed except for the Adachi episode and the Yu vs. Adachi fight.

This song needs more love. The first episode of the Golden Animation had the most accurate representation of a New Game Plus run I've ever seen in any adaptation. I just started it, but if the rest of the show is like that I can forgive everything else.
It's not. It's the anime's way of saying 'There's no point to focusing on the combat, so here have some Marie.'
Re Nozomi: It makes you wonder why someone with such severe social anxiety would enter the performing arts.
