I was under the impression that she got to be the protagonist because she was popular already. Same reason she got a social link despite all the arcana being claimed already.

Aigis' being made a functional protagonist- She's the face of P3, since the original lead is indisposed for the foreseeable future- Couldn't have done hurt her popularity. If anything it helped her get even more popular.

Since I won't be getting the game til next month, I've been watching the videos some people have of the first hour or so.
That review: I honestly don't see what's hard to get about a crossover where the characters are just enjoying themselves instead of being jerks and stuff. Also, really? Complaining about the fact that Teddie hits on girls? It's his main thing to the point of annoyance. Even in Ultimax that was his role, with his ending about him being a pervert because that's all there is to his character.

I'm not complaining about that, but rather the fact that the review is acting like Teddie isn't always a pervert and the searching for a identity was a minor thing for his character.

I'm so glad they dropped the figuring out how to be nice to monsters and collecting cards from the early games in the later games. It's so tedious and difficult.

He's not though? Teddie's too innocent to be a creep. He's a massive flirt but that's not really the same thing.
And yet he persists even when it's clear he makes people angry. And it's totally innocent how he gropes Rise in the middle of a hug.
Mitsuru and Margaret both lost in round one, disgusting. Labrys will probably lose to Chie too.

When did he grope Rise during a hug? That's a bit more creepy then he usually is.
I believe it was just after they found out Nanako would be ok. I think.
Something sort of like that, but I remember that they had both broken down into tears and were hugging each other. And then Rise smacked him.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.
there was also that time when he and kanji lead the way into the girls room at the inn and jumped into their beds under the assumption the girls were under the covers. teddies line comes across as a tad bit more creepy than kanji's does.
