I wonder, did they intend Shadow doubles for everyone at some point? Is there equivelents for Adachi or the Shos?

I guess it wouldn't be impossible since she's just a minor goddess and has Kaguya as her persona.

Elizabeth and Margaret are too STR and are also trying to not intervene as much as possible. Though Elizabeth is the one who gives Rise her resolve to fight.

Adachi was at least pretending to be on Sho's side when around the IT, and even had to clue them in that following the bad guys rules was a dumb idea since they aren't very bright.

Otherworldly beings can have Shadows.

c.f. Shadow Teddie. And you could argue that Marie is Izanami's Shadow.

I wasn't even saying that since shadows have had them since P2. Even the Fake Shadows in Ultimax have them.

I was mentioning the idea of her having a shadow since she has a persona.

The Nobody: Yoshitsune? Maybe. Personally, I think I actually used Beelzebub and Trumpeter on my first P4 playthrough. And I'm not saying don't bring any elemental attacks with you, but rather don't make it your main focus to have all the elemental attacks.

If you want to have a self imposed challenge of only using one persona that's fine, but as far as I know people only did that in P3P because there were skill cards and incense cards that made such a strategy actually reasonable.

I think Growth skills are inheritable, yes.

Asterism: You could argue that, but you'd be wrong.

Veering this off Ultimax a little, I had an idea for a bit of a thought experiment. Consider Nyx's status as a marathon boss. What if Nyx, instead of just simply switching movesets, took on the forms of various gaming final bosses? I'll try and start us off, and fill in blanks where I can think of them. (Not including the Fool, as Nyx does nothing during that phase, and I'll be surprised if there is a suitable candidate for that particular tarot anyway.)

You know I actually feel bad for the Fake Shadows. Some of them aren't really that bad, like Kanji and him getting along very well until Yukiko realized the fake is smater than the original and then he has to stop having fun and act Camp Gay and serious.

Even Shadow Aigis understood bonds and wanted Labrys to join her master Sho so he wouldn't be lonely.

The fake shadows, despite being the most negative aspects of their true selves, probably still have their better qualities buried within, but its their nature to both follow their master and to express their darker traits openly.

Above list has been updated. It's pretty varied, even if we had to resort to an in-series antagonist to get Hermit, but that's a difficult category, I suppose.

That's right. The characters themselves point out that the fakes, despite not intending to be anything more than a Evil Knockoff meant to goad them into fighting, are thought by several characters to actually be very similar to the originals.

Though there's usually some difference. Ken is brattier than his shadow, Junpei is more of a joke of his shadow even Shadow Junpei can't believe he's based on Junpei, Shadow Kanji is smarter than Kanji, etc.

Oh, I played a little Ultimax yesterday...it's...so...sublime. I can't wait to sink my teeth into it after the semester is out. I did hear the plot was pretty....eeehh.

The final boss will be underwhelming and it will be completely obvious that the battle between Bond vs Solitude is going to end in the heroes winning. Along with the villain being a Smug Snake and an idiot with Informed Ability.

But the worse, most truly despicable thing about it is that they don't animate Izanagi and Magatsu-Izanagi fusing into a giant sword to finish the final boss. Only animating the final boss appearing and disappearing..

That is beyond forgiveness or redemption.

x2 Kanji notices it after Ken shows up after they fight Shadow Ken. He makes it very clear he sees the Shadow Ken as a brat.

Ah, I thought you meant the other way around, for some reason.

@Nobody I'll have to look and make sure this is right (I don't have my Vita and won't for another week or so..) but Fool Izanagi (Zio) + Strength Sandman (Garu) = Magician Orobas (Agi, Zio, Garu) and then I think it was Orobas + Apsaras. That actually may not result in Archangel, but that should work regardless.
