Well, I don't know if it qualifies as "the main bar" per se, but have it right next to the "new wiki edits" "launches" "watchlist" "YKTTW" and "forum top" blue pill buttons.

There's one in the main wiki (next to the random button), but it is indeed lacking in the forum.

Actually, I have a problem with the "Login" button being on the page when the person is already known. No other site I know of does this.

I also have a problem with it being labeled "login, " when we make such a big deal out of the difference between "Getting known" and "Logging in."

You know, I've seen that "login" button there for months now and never actually realized it was a "get known" button. Huh. It's surprising that the forum lacks this button, because being "known" is much more important in the forum than in the wiki, at least in the sense that one can contribute to the wiki without being known, but being known is a requirement for using the forum.

It would make it a hella lot more convenient for sockpuppet users.
