OK, so. My old OED also says "arch-enemy". Dictionary.com recognises both "archenemy" and "arch enemy". Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary online only recognises "arch-enemy". Merriam-Webster online recognises all three variants, although I'm unable to determine whether that isn't just the site search function redirecting me. Wiktionary.org recognises all three, but treats "archenemy" as the main entry and lists the others as variants.

Unrelated but related— what about when a work capitalizes itself strangely? The SaGa games (with the exception of Unlimited Saga) capitalize the G, but still writes it as one word. Do we just write it Saga Frontier or should we ptitle it SaGa Frontier?

It depends on how you link it.

Use curly brackets {{ }} for single word ones

• Mac Beth
• Macb Eth
• Ma Cb Et H

That is, depending on how the link goes, that's how the header'll show up.

Ideally, most who link to the page will type it correctly in curly brackets so that it shows up correctly everywhere but searches.

Wild ARMs 4, for example.

It seems kind of silly to use a ptitle just so it shows up on searches correctly. Because even if the main article is a ptitle, 99.9% of people will link to the real words redirect instead.

Ah, I know to use {{}}'s for single-word titles but I didn't realize that capitalisation doesn't matter and the header will reflect the link, I figured the header would just be however it's meant to be spelled, I see.

@Ccoa- This is true. Guess I'll go fix some of the links to Saga Frontier and put Sa Ga Frontier 2 on the broken space titles page Fast Eddie linked on the other page.

I'm not sure that I like incorrectly-capitalized titles any more than I like titles with extraneous spaces in them... is PmWiki's (:title:) not enabled? That seems like a quick fix.

Bumping this to remind people to add to the rename page and also to remind the admins that this needs to be emptied out again.

Apparently the first batch has been fixed, but a search for 'retcon' still turns up 'Ret Con'.
