So, stick with me here: what if musical.ly was taken over by monsters? We all know that the site is a place of utter vapidity and idiocy. What if we start taking it back? Put on masks to hide our faces, that way their is no vanity to it. Mime along to more serious songs, taken to increasingly silly and literal interpretations. Imagine: a man in a pig mask, theatre-stabbing a woman dressed as a prostitiute, blood spurting everywhere, all to the beat of Animals. Imagine: a gang of men and women in crazy Eyes Wide Shut masks wildly miming an orgy to the tune of Closer. Imagine: Pyramid Head break-dancing to Monster.
It would be beautiful.

musical.ly is supposed to be an application that lets anybody make a music video for their favorite songs. Unfortunately, it became a cesspool of vain teenagers who just used it as another social media platform for their amusement, squandering it's potential value on pretty hair and dumb fads. I want to take it back.

I had this random thought recently.
The moral of stories like Recess: School's Out and the Simpsons episode "Lard of the Dance" is that you shouldn't be in such a mad rush to grow up and enjoy your childhood while you still have it. I think that moral would be easier to follow if society didn't keep telling kids what they can and especially can't do, thereby giving them the mad rush to grow up in the first place.

Is it normal to be annoyed by what I see is the improper use of the word "impeachment" (context: Brazil's hitherto President Dilma Rousseff was been removed from office by the Brazilian Federal Senate today by a 60-21 vote) in otherwise respectable news sites like the New York Times ("Brazilian Senate Ousts President With Vote to Impeach")? Impeachment is the trial process, not the actual removal! Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton were both impeached - neither were removed from office.
Or am I being an unnecessary Grammar Nazi?
