Just post whatever comes to mind.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.
If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.
Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

Well you didn't spend any money on it. But I don't plan on doing so either. If my SO really loved me they wouldn't give a crap

(not your fault. It's just really sucky timing, since my fiance broke up with me through an email yesterday, and we were together for nearly 6 years and I'm just a wreck right now.)

All this talk of wedding rings is making think about Tolkien's Elves got betrothed and stuff. The wedding ring is worn on the index finger, for one.
Good grief, I'm so geeky.
Blog linkWhat movie was it where the newly married couple exchanged ring...fingers? Was it something by Tim Burton?
Fresh-eyed movie blogCorpse Bride? I've never seen it, but that seems fitting.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."I'm fairly sure it was live action. Maybe it was a couple related to the Addams Family, or somebody in Beetlejuice's realm.

Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!Okay, that was actually pretty good.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!I've loved Opals since I read Terrier by Tamora Pierce. Opals, Fire Opals to be exact, are a major plot point.

But lately, it's started to not work, and I've had to go back to the homepage. This problem only happens in the fora on here.
Anyone else have this problem?

Is it normal to be concerned by this?
I have disagreed with her a lot, but comparing her to republicans and propagandists of dictatorships is really low. - An idiot...You'd make them pay taxes?
That is kind of the thing you do when you're in power......
Eh, everyone has power/revenge fantasies about beating down on people they don't like. As long as you don't actually start hurting people you'll be fine.
Is this already the 27th Kidz Bop album?!
I can just imagine what the kidz who sang in 1, 2, and the like must be thinking now...

Baffly, you have made me interpret a song way differently know I know what the title is.
The song in question is "Chia-like, I Will Grow" by Say Anything. I didn't know what 'chia-like' meant, I assumed it was some foreign word the songwriter decided to use.
But now your throwaway comment has revealed to me what a Chia is, and therefore, the meaning behind the song.
I’m so alone without you. To call up on the weekends with my cellular phone. Not to be confused with the Neopet of the same name. If something was growing like that kind of chia, it wouldn't be very much growing at all.
