They're supposed to go all the way back, though I think that we lost a lot of memory at some point.

wouldn't killing everybody that the better master thief than you be a better way to become an infinite serial killer? then the greatest thief world? I mean I get the whole get the title by default idea but you still need to steal something.

And its going to be one of those times when I eat a lot and get drunk as an appropiately intoxicated ethnic stereotype. Too bad I wont be doing any of those things because I am not supposed to drink or eat too much.

Bummer.
Yeah, but can't you get high here? If I get high in Amsterdam its a cultural experience, but if I do it here I am a common pothead.

The plan was to go to bed at a reasonable hour for a couple nights so that I could wake up on Christmas at a reasonable hour. But it's now 2:06 in the morning, and my brain would rather, instead of sleeping, entertain such thoughts as:

Anthropomorphic Penis: This is my hole! It was made for me!

Well, tomorrow is gonna be a dull, boring day~

I guess I'll just waste my time on posting and modding Cave Story into oblivious annihilation... evil grin

EDIT:
I have never been so surprised in my life surprised
My second Cave Story mod, Shane's Cave Story, has a speedrun part where my record is 2'20"0.
And it got beaten by someone who helps me with it. His time: 0'58"3.

Is there a trope for such things where somebody beats the Author's speedrun time?

My cat is currently in pursuit of a mouse. On the one hand I sorta feel sorry for the mouse. On the other hand, my cat is most certainly enjoying herself. On the gripping hand, my cat has no idea what to do when she DOES catch the mouse and just walks around, sometimes talking to me (with mouse still in mouth), and lets it go only to chase after it again.

Yeah, but what the specific example that led to that being written on that specific page. :p

Whenever I have to add the No Real Life Examples, Please! Disclaimer, it's never because of one specific example, but because a good chunk of the page has devolved into natter, justifying edits and whatnot.

Why is it that I have a fear of moderators/admins/staff members? How is that even possible? That doesn't even make any sense because that would mean that I have a fear of myself as a result of being admin of three forums! surprised

C'mon, Parablé won't usually eat you.

Heralds was the name settled on in the official thread (which I think was spun out of another, though I haven't found that yet); other proposals included Forum Greeter, Friendly Native Guide, Forum Guide, Ferguson, Mommie Surrogate, and Happiness Counselor, but this was chosen for the Call to Adventure feel, I believe. Note: Some suggestions may not have been serious.

Heralds aren't staff members as such, to my mind; it's just a bot hooked up to an account, and I know I get few responses for the Wiki Talk message. They are also not listed on Know the Staff, though they are on the TV Tropes Forum page. Others, of course, may have different feelings about it.

Parababble: In case you didn't already know, there's a new bit of markup for NRLEP pages. Put [[noreallife]] somewhere in the source code and it'll replace the edit tip with a larger red notice stating "No real life examples in this article, please.". This is in place of putting No Real Life Examples, Please! on the page, as messages to editor shouldn't be visible to readers.

Anybody know about Minutephysics? That Youtube channel that shows (one-to-three-)minute-long videos of physics concepts? Apparently he and Rob Bryanton, the owner of one of my increasingly favorite channels, Imagining the Tenth Dimension, are in some kind of war over who's right. Their viewers are fighting about it too.

The owner of Minutephysics sounds way younger than Bryanton, so I'm more willing to believe the latter. Though it's sad...even Internet physicists can make fan wars...sad

@Zersk Kind of. Bryanton talks about higher dimensions and Henry Reich (oh that's his name) apparently says that Bryanton's wrong, then Bryanton says in his videos that because Reich says he's wrong, Reich's viewers are deleting important information about what Bryanton talks about off Wikipedia.

Course, I wouldn't really trust Wikipedia on much about science anyway, but any kind of fan war is always saddening, wouldn't you think...?
