Telcontar: I've gotten the okay ending in Cave Story, but I can't reliably get even halfway through Sacred Grounds. Hm, may I have a go with one of your mods at some point as a distraction from that?
Yeah, just be aware that some of them are even harder
and that none of them are finished yet, and that the mods are somewhat unrelated to the original Cave Story
(except for Cave Story - Time Warp
which is the worst mod I ever made, which I plan on remaking in the future).

Cave Story - Time Warp
: Takes place after the bad ending, and back in the past. It's just recolourings and dialogue changes, full of glitches - I plan to remake this, as I said above, but when

: An entirely different Floating Island
. And with me as the protagonist. And with special powers. And incredibly hard. And insane. I plan to let it have 4 sequels and
a prequel, just to tie up several loose ends. My avatar is from the end boss of the Extended Ending (the best ending of SCS 1
). And with 145+ HP the Sacred Grounds could be easy - it's possible in this mod to have that much HP, it just requires ignoring the first few Life Capsules. I think. Shadow of the Stars
: Related to SCS 1
, with the protagonist's sister (one of them, and I don't really have sisters or brothers so wonder why I actually have three/four sisters in the mods) starting on the moon. And then the moon gets blown to smithereens. There's a bug that prevents one from fighting Monster X, and I have no idea how to fix it. Cave Story Re:coded
: A mod taking place inside a digital world. I have yet to find a better name, and remove the thousands of references to Kingdom Hearts Re:coded
. Including the Twinblades' name: Oathkeeper and Oblivion. Also related to SCS 1
