Just post whatever comes to mind.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.
If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.
Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

The thing that is wrong with going away from subjectivity is that we are fans, and we, as fans, are wrong enough to have opinions.
The problem isn't subjectivity, it's the fact that we have opinions, which cause us to get in fights and go on deleting rampages.

Edit: nearly double posted, anyway, What do you think I should do in my live action film in celebration of 400 page views on my blog?

"You'd never do something as irrational as dying."Here is a writing exercise I thought up. Make up four characters, with their personalities based on the following:
- How you want to be
- How you think you are
- How you actually are
- How others see you
That sounds pretty good Tidal, I think I might get to work on doing such a thing.
"You'd never do something as irrational as dying."Cool! Let me know how it goes!
Looking back on posts I made in '11, I sure was a pessimistic and stupid person. (I'll bet I still am.) But one of my posts reminded of something I didn't even remember until I just read it.
... You were pessimistic?
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.Were you implying I was stupid? XD
Joking aside, yes.
@Ti I think I've done that.
Or maybe...
- How I want to be
- How I pretend to be
- How I could be if I was less moraled
- How my inner self wants me to be
How you want to be: I would not change my Hat. Basically, somewhat different than what I am now. Smarter, shorter, and with lighter hair. Alsoless close-minded, more bookish, and able to shoot fire out of my hands.
How you think you are: Someone with a great hat. Pretty much worthless, but loyal beyond everything to my friends. Stupid as a rock.
How you actually are: A rather self-absorbed person who is pretty book-smart but acts dumb for some reason; who can be irritable and abrasive but is also loyal beyond reason to my friends. Also has a pretty sweet Hat.
How others see you: Selfish clingy self-depreciatign jerk obsessed with hats.

"Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes."You know a story is good when it starts with,
"Right as I was taking off my pants..."
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min Kim...if somebody doesn't want to help other people, but would anyway, is that still a bad person make?
Like, you didn't want to help out at the animal shelter but your parents made you?
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimI don't think so. A neutral person, sure, but not a bad one.
How about this?
A person who wants to help, but is utterly incapable of doing so? Is he a bad person?
@Parable No, animals aren't people! ;P
Not in the sense I'm thinking any way. Actual humans.
@Confidant Less so.
Well, it depends on why they can't help people, I guess.
If you want any of my avatars, just Pm me I'd truly appreciate any avatar of a reptile sleeping in a Nice Hat Read Elmer Kelton booksI'm not sure what you mean by 'why they can't help', nor am I entirely sure why it matters.
Handicaps...distance...authoritative disallowment...
I love when I can make up words.
If an outside force is making you do the good that you wouldn't do otherwise, then yeah, you're still a jerk.
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimIs somebody else preventing them from helping (for example, did somebody lock them in their room), or are they preventing themselves from helping (spending the money that they wanted to give to the poor), or something else?

The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.
