Locked Pages: Lock, UnLock and Edit requests

About the German pages on Hyphenated Titles, all we're doing here is listing them for quick reference. I agree it is better if it's the people focused on this part of the site that are doing any move.

And on this subject, the last [/index] markup on this page need to be removed and put on the bottom of the list, so those German hyphenated titles will be indexed too.

Septimus Heap seems to have talked about the de-hyphenation and not making new hyphenated titles in the German translation thread (thread is in German), but I only read that after I posted (it was a page or two back from what they are discussing now.)

Okay, I made a mistake.

Way back in post 8979, I wrote that Fall Of The Studio System should be removed from Fallen Creator. What I meant is that it should be namespaced on that page. If some moderator could put FOTSS back on Fallen Creator and namespace it, I'd be very grateful. Thanks!

Upon considering a few new editors, I think a message about bad work page links, like so, may be worth adding to the "message editor over an edit" function:

"Greetings,

The <page> edit you made isn't linking the work page properly.

Work names in trope examples should preferably be in link form (CamelCase or for single-word titles between {{ and }}), in italics (done by surrounding the link text with and ; except for short stories, where they should be between " and ") and with a namespace before the link (like Namespace/WorkTitle). If you have problems with that, just consult Text-Formatting Rules or Ask The Tropers.

Thanks for helping us keep the wiki cool."

There may be another way to write this, though.

you need to add some anti-markup markup so you get something similar to: ''and'', (two apostrophe characters either side, which shows up like this: and.) Later on make sure they know they're quote marks, because they can look exactly the same in some fonts.

Please add the following to No Real Life Examples, Please!, as per the "Real Life section maintenance" thread in the Long Term Projects forum:

* EvilMentor: Calling real people evil.

* GoodAdulteryBadAdultery: Making morality calls about what adultery is justifiable, which is outside the wiki's mission.

* NobleBigot: Calling real life people bigots, and "noble" is a morality judgement, which isn't what the wiki does.
