Edit Requests for Locked Pages:

This thread is for requesting edits to Locked Pages. Please keep the following guidelines in mind:

  1. Don't ask for a page to be unlocked here. Use this thread instead.
  2. Check Locked Pages first. Often the reason for the lock will give you some indication of what sorts of edits we will not accept.
  3. Include working links in your request to the page(s) that need edits.
  4. State your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting.
  5. Make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
  6. We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
  7. Main redirects are no longer being created for namespaced work pages. Don't ask for one.
  8. Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread) and Five-Man Band (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.

NOTE: Edited with OP's permission.

On there should be a mention of Sherry Birkin in Resident Evil 6 in video games. Especially noticeable when you play as her in Chapter 3.

Pardon, but we'll need an actual example writeup. See How to Write an Example for details.

Alrighty then:

In Resident Evil 6 Sherry Birkin gets captured by N.G.O. Superpower Neo-Umbrella. Six months later she wakes up in a patient's outfit, where you can easily see sideboobs. The outfit doesn't cover much, really.

Nice, I like it. You've seen her in the outfit, haven't you?

I would like to shift Main.LOLCats to WebOriginal.LOLCats in keeping with wiki policy on Work Pages in Main (precedent is Inglip, which a TRS thread decided needed to be in Web Original). You can re-lock it afterwards if you feel the need.

I think there needs to be an addition to the Naruto YMMV page for Unfortunate Implications, though it would require some spoiler tagging.

Example: Unfortunate Implications: According to Tobirama the Sharingan is actually a sign of mental illness caused by emotional stress experienced by an Uchiha. This means three major villains, Sasuke, Madara, and Obito are evil because they have a genetic mental disorder.

@Kereea: One minor point: I was under the impression we were trying ensure people provide citations for Unfortunate Implications (beyond just linking to the work, I mean) to make sure it's not just the posting troper who thought they existed.

I just remembered another one for Mercy Killing on the The Bible.

The righteous pass away: the godly often die before their time. And no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evils to come. For the Godly who die will rest in peace.-Isaiah 57:1-2

5086: I took a look at several other meme pages and they're still in Main/. I think we need to talk about this in TRS or Short Term Projects, so let's hold off on that for now.

5087: I think Septimus is right; for Unfortunate Implications, it's best if there's some outside reference.

5090, 5092: Done.

5091: That seems like it's stretching the definition of "mercy killing" a bit far, but we discussed it and decided to give it a [tup].

Please add the just-locked Locked Pages to Locked Pages in the "Administrative/Policy" section.

Reckon I can add it to the Self-Demonstrating Article index too? The current situation amuses me.

I agree on Self Demo, but I disagree on the placement on Locked Pages - it should go to the bottom section as it has nothing to do with the reasons the "Policy" pages are locked.

The forum cleaning-up the Complete Monster trope has decided that the entries listed under Firefly on the Monster.Live Action TV page don't count. I'm here to request that all of them be cut, and that this approved entry of Adelai Niska entry be put up in their place:
  • Despite his initial appearance as an avuncular old man, Adelai Niska from Firefly is quickly revealed to be the most vicious character in the series. A sadist with a love of personally conducting Cold-Blooded Torture on his victims, Niska is proud of his feared reputation amongst the criminal community and is obsessed with ensuring the horror stories surrounding him are all true. When he first meets the crew of Serenity, Niska shows off the mutilated corpse of his wife's nephew to solidify his reputation in their eyes and to show them what price they'll pay should they fail him. After commissioning the crew to steal important cargo from an Alliance train, the crew is horrified to realize that what they've stolen is the medicine needed to treat an entire city full of sick settlers. In his next appearance, Niska is seen carving up another failed employee, before getting his hands on Mal and Wash, whom he also proceeds to torture for hours. Eventually Zoe, Mal's first mate and Wash's wife, offers to buy Niska's captives off of him, but Niska tells her that with the money she has, she can only afford one of them and tries to force her into a Sadistic Choice. When Zoe ruins his fun by immediately picking her husband, he responds by saying there is enough money for some of Captain Reynolds. He then cuts off Mal's ear and gives it to her. Niska spends the remainder of the episode torturing Mal to death, only to use advanced technology to bring him back to life so Niska can have the pleasure of torturing Mal to death for days.

Klaus and Esther of the Vampire Diaries have also been judged not to count by the forum, so I'm here to request their deletion from Monster.Live Action TV as well. Thank you.

About that Naruto example: "linking to work" also doesn't work because we don't link to scanlations at all.
