This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.
NOTE: Edited with OP's permission.

I was going off the page history. Not a single vandal viewed.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman3218 still needs to be done: Reposting:
Also, regarding the edits to Just A Face And A Caption: This sentence still could use fixing:
"So, images shouldn't be added under the assumption that people are already in the fandom, they must be added to get people to get involved in it."
I've suggested the following: "As a result, images shouldn't be added under the assumption that people are familiar with the work in question; images should instead serve to create interest in the work."

Created Sandbox.Adolf Hitler and made all the edits I originally wanted to make to the main Adolf Hitler page. In my original post regarding the page, I didn't list everything I wanted to change because it's mostly organization and nit-picky stuff the inner Grammar Nazi in me just can't ignore. Can someone look over the sandbox and make sure I didn't miss anything before we move it to UsefulNotes.Adolf Hitler and lock it up?

Momentum, a function of mass and velocity, is conserved between portals. In layman's terms: speedy thing goes in, speedy thing comes out.Thanks. Here's what I came up with; seems a fair compromise between that and the current:
"So, images shouldn't be added under the assumption that people are already familiar with the works they're from; rather, they should be added to interest people in those works."

I really don't like using "so" to start a sentence since it's a coordinating conjunction as opposed to a subordinating one, but I'll not press the issue further if consensus is to leave it as such. I'll grit and bear with it.
I'll give it a second look, since I'd like to axe some natter and give some better example indentation.
Gorn has a hottip.
For Moral Guardians: ''{{Fallout}}'' 3 -> ''VideoGame/{{Fallout 3}}''
I now go by Graf von Tirol., Done.
The "so" thing doesn't bug me all that much, but if others want it taken out then it can be changed.
The Evil Overlord List and its two Cellblock pages need a few tweaks, but the pages are obviously locked. Can someone please swap them with the fixed versions I posted here? Thanks.

Forbiden Fruit: The Tempation of Edward Cullen needs a A Worldwide Punomenon wick changed to Incredibly Lame Pun
Also, the current quote on Maradonia Saga is a Take That!. Please replace it with this:
->"Fifteen-Year-old Maya and her Fourteen-Year-old brother Joey noticed a gap in the fence of a ‘Government Owned Property’'" —>— The first line of the first book.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanOn Tropes Are Tools: "There is a reason why we have an entire category devoted to Acceptable Breaks from Reality. That category only applies to video games, but there are some good non-video game examples as well."
No it doesn't. Someone should fix that.
About The Bible, there's at least one mistake : -Jacob is stated as an example of Badass, but he is more of a Badass Normal (not less). He fought an angel, after all, if it wasn't God himself. -Judas Maccabeus IS stated as a badass normal, but I thought he was just a straight badass (did he fight an angel or anything? I think no).
I'd like to add an example to "Big Bra To Fill". The show "A Chorus Line" has a character who is remarked on by other characters as having large breasts and even sings a song about how getting breast implants has helped her career as a dancer, but the role is often played by actresses no more buxom than the rest of the cast, turning her chest into an Informed Attribute.
For the sake of crosswicking Listing the Forms of Degenerates, I request that the following entry be crosswicked to our page for The Bible:
- Listing the Forms of Degenerates: Frequently used, but an especially well-known example is 1 Corinthians 6:9-10.
On Monster.Literature, please add Creator/ to Vernor Vinge.
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee. We're done to here except for:
3238: The entire Badass section there needs to be redone, but I'm not sure how to go about doing it.
3239: Please rewrite what you want added as an actual example that can be copypasted onto the page.

3239 wrote the example up fully on the discussion page for Big Bra to Fill.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Forbiden Fruit: The Tempation of Edward Cullen needs Nightmare Fuel / High Octane Nightmare Fuel wicks removed.
Also, am I correct that Archive. You Know That Show and subpages aren't supposed to be unlocked?

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanGot it.
I only saw one; the line was pretty much natter, so I just removed the whole thing. Archives are left alone, yes.
Monster.Tabletop Games has more High Octane Nightmare Fuel wicks to remove.
Also, the archive pages in should be locked.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanFanfic. My Immortal needs some namespacing:

- The Nightmare Before Christmas to WesternAnimation/ twice in the description for Bread Milk Eggs Squick

Speaking of The Bible, its YMMV page has several Moral Event Horizons per character; evidently some misinterpretation of MEH is involved. I recommend that either all but one per character be removed (I feel I'm not familiar enough with The Bible to recommend which) or at the very least that each character's entry says something along the lines of "it's unclear where they crossed the MEH, but it could be either [A] or [B]" etc...
Anyway, I also recommend for the Disney CM list, that the currently poorly written Lotso entry be replaced with the following:
- From Toy Story 3, Lotso the teddy bear seems at first to be hospitable to the new toys at Sunnyside Daycare. However, when how rough the kids are with the new toys leaves said toys wanting to leave, Lotso orders one of them "reprogrammed" so that he can be brainwashed into beating up and then imprisoning his former friends at Sunnyside on Lotso's behalf. When they try to escape and Lotso encounters them, he orders his minions to throw the prisoners into a dumpster, but when Lotso hits his most key minion, Big Baby, in the stomach, simply for wanting his "mama" back, Lotso's other minions seem a bit hesitant. This buys Big Baby time to throw Lotso into the dumpster instead. Eventually, both Lotso and the escaped toys end up at a landfill, in which two of the escaped toys risk their lives to save Lotso, whose Moral Event Horizon is to leave these same escaped toys to fall into the incinerator, when he could have saved them at no risk to himself. They end up getting rescued anyways, though.
Also, the movie only came out a couple years ago and everything about that entry is spoilerish, so I also recommend hiding the mention of the name Lotso, and everything after it, behind labelnote, but I'm not as certain about it as I'm certain about wanting the entry substituted. I know it omits the part about his sad backstory, but if it doesn't really negate CM status I don't think it's particularly relevant. I'm not sure how to work it into the entry anyway.

"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartArchive.Trope Overdosed needs namespacing: Western Animation/ for Finding Nemo, Film/ for Idiocracy.
Get rid of the walled gardenArchive pages aren't edited. They sort of serve as a time capsule for the wiki.
I've a feeling it has more to do with preventing vandalism than anything else.
So what from the previous page still needs to be done, if anything?
