This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.
NOTE: Edited with OP's permission.

You can copy from the page source and make the YMMV article yourself. When you're done, I'll chop 'em off the main one.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Done. There were surprisingly few of them.
And the page is cleared. Thanks.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"There's a link to So Bad Its Horrible on Complaining About Shows You Don't Watch.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickWould I be allowed to post this on the Wild Mass Guessing page for Buffy, in regards to the comparisons to Twilight?
Hasn't the Twilight character been revealed to be Angel manipulating the US Army into a low Slayer body count? Or did I miss part of the storyline?
Currently reading up My Rule Fu Is Stronger than YoursThat page is not locked, so why are you going here?
Because I really want to be very careful not to do anything wrong or step on anyone's toes, thus I want to make sure whatever I write is not going to upset anyone, and Fighter told me this was the thread to use if I was concerned about an edit.
Currently reading up My Rule Fu Is Stronger than YoursI don't recall telling you to be that careful, my friend. But you might see if we have a Buffy thread in the Live Action TV subforum.
My primary concern with WMG pages is when people start using them as JBM in disguise, like "WMG: Possible reasons this character sucks so badly."
@shima: I can't find the link. Some else must have gotten it while I was asleep.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"It's ok. The Fast one got it. Thanks for helping with the clean up.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickAnyway, the story had been and gone, I think. It was, without having actually read the ending and just looked it up, Twilight was Angel, he thought he could create this perfect world for Buffy, she didn't bite, and he got zapped. And somewhere in there was a traitor of some form or another. Anyway, the point was the storyline made my musing moot.
Currently reading up My Rule Fu Is Stronger than YoursMade X Just X non-trope page specific as I've seen it pop up on work pages too. It's at Sandbox.X Just X. Also, the chaser index code was deleted.

Fight smart, not fair. For some reason I can't get the Sandbox article to come up. Oh, never mind, it's something borked with the CSS. I copied the text to the Main article - look good?

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Looks good. X Just X is blue shifted but it's not on Administrivia now, what's up with that?
Otherwise, it looks okay to me. I wrote it, but I didn't change that much so it shouldn't have been damaged too badly.

Fight smart, not fair.Oh, editing a redshifted article unshifts it. Eddie has to fix, sorry. I thought it was on Wiki Tropes, not Administrivia.
Edit: It was on neither. Fixéd.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"When I went through and cleaned out the wiks to X Just X, I thought I could leave it on things that referenced it in a way of examples. I think it's in the Viewers Are Geniuses description.
Let me list the pages I left it on, the rest it's not on.
- Administrivia
- Fan Myopia
- How Not To Write A Trope
- Locked Pages
- Made Of Win Archive Early 2009
- Made Of Win Archive Late 2009
- Meta
- Not Self Explanatory
- nuclearneo577
- Permanent Red Link Club
- Real Life
- Trope Names For A Band
- Viewers Are Geniuses
- Wiki Tropes
- X Just X
Everything else was removed or is a glitched search.

Fight smart, not fair.Well you can't have it red in some places and blue in others. But there are places we use This Troper in descriptions, so I'd say it's fine to leave a few choice examples in place.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"So, there's fifteen links to the page. There'll be one more if Sandbox. How To Pick A Good Image is launched (as I've been comparing Just A Face And A Caption to X Just X).
Fight smart, not fair.I know, that's why I left it. There were a handful of instances of misuse as a trope, and one misuse as a legitimate trope.
Fight smart, not fair.Pædo Hunt has some threadmode going on around the entry for the film M.
Natter trimmed. I don't know anything about the films in question, though. If you can suggest better example text I'll go with it.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"If a work will be created with a title identical to the pages in Permanent Red Link Club, should a request to edit the page be suggested here, too?
P.S. Restore and repair Uwe Boll's page. It is a creator's page after all.

1. If a work article needs to be launched, try first to put it in the correct namespace. If that still collides with something in PRLC, post here.
2. No. We are not bringing back Uwe Boll because tropers are apparently incapable of not savagely attacking him. This is Why Fandom Can't Have Nice Things.
