Canada. PRINCE MOUNTIE.
The Central African Republic. Or possibly Korea.
Ukrainian Red CrossIceland.
Japan, because I think they should do Momotaro. It's got the animal sidekicks built in!
Stuff what I do.Mars. I'd like a Disney princess film set on Mars.
...ok, seriously then. I'd like to see either a Pixar or Disney film set in the post-independence Patagonian region. Preferably something about gauchos, but as long as it nails that rural, Andean culture, it's all good.
The Rennaissance? In a country that's not Italy, but later ends up in Italy?

New User HandleNot Australia, because I've seen enough Land Down Under for my lifetime.
Instead I nominate Canada.
I'd like to see it in America. Namely, Skid Row. But that's a long-time pipe-dream of mine.

Is that supposed to be some kind of "lol, Asian people all look the same herp derp" joke?
I mean, how many Disney films take place in England? Or France? Did they let it stop them making Sleeping Beauty just because they had already made Cinderella? And Mulan is older now than Cinderella was when Sleeping Beauty came out.
Stuff what I do.Just as long as it isn't another fucking musical. That's all I ask.
Russia would be interesting.
Iran.
Easy street has no parking signs.no. i want the new disney film to take place in modern day north korea.
i voted for Ba-ROCKMAN-Obama!Hankage, if you hate musicals so much, why do you watch the Disney Animated Canon at all? It's their stock in trade.
Stuff what I do.I don't, but my nieces, nephews and cousins do. They visit often.
Then what are you even doing in this thread?
Stuff what I do.Because hopefully the next Disney movie won't stop every five minutes for a song and dance routine. I like the animation, it's just the rest I can't stand.
Well, you're in a distinct minority. Learn to deal with it. You'll be happier, and live longer.
Stuff what I do.The Galapagos Islands or New Caledonia

The problem is how Disney handles films set in Other Cultures: they throw in every possible thing that relates to that country/time period/civilization, thereby crippling their ability to make another one. Mulan wouldn't prevent Disney from making a movie about Japan, I wouldn't think, but it would prevent them from making another one set in China, because they threw every single possible Chinese thing they could think of into that movie. Hercules mashed up all of Greek mythology into one movie, so they'll never be able to do another Greek mythology movie.
Norway. Skandanavian princesses FTW! Or, they could just make a movie about the Norse gods. Either way, I want to see it!
We're going to spread this shit like Nutella.Holy fuck Karalora...Disney doing Momotaro would be awesome. So yeah...Japan is on my list...obviously.
Italy would be cool...or India. Yeah let's do India. They have some cool myths that need that special Disney brand of canon rape that manages to be awesome most of the time.
And for a completely odd choice...THAILAND BABY.

So is there any particular counrty/culture you'd like to see portrayed in a Disney movie? Maybe a fairytale/legend from said culture that would make for a good adaptation? Here's my list of countries I'd like to see in a Disney movie:
I know Disney movies exist that are already set in some of these countries, but it'd be nice to get a better feel of the culture (like with The Jungle Book and how most of it was in the jungle with talking animals). So share your ideas!
