Im really dumbfounded as to why is everyone is making such a big deal over a song.

I forgot all about those two. My quote was actually a reference to (I think) a VG Cats comic that made fun of Chrono Cross.

Y'know...after listening to this song a million times, it strikes me that it's perfect for the stage. Get me a few singer/dancers and someone to set a choreography for it, and you could whip up something pretty damn awesome.

OK, I didn't mind it at first, but now I hate it just because I have to listen to it all the way through since FU Ni's video revver makes skipping a pain in the rear.

I do laugh out loud almost every time at the Heil + "YAAAAYYYY!", though.

My only issue with the song is the fact its pretty spoilerific and the fact it is a serious case of Mood Whiplash. Anyone who knows anything about whats going on during this arc willl find it pretty out of place.

I actually really like this OP. It's a nice break from the Great Strawhat Famine. Yes, it's Mood Whiplash-y, but they couldn't very well have written an OP consisting entirely of "By the way guys, you remember that Ace fellow...?"

I liked it. Yes it was a bit upbeat for the Marineford Arc, but I liked it. It's sort of relaxing.

And who said that the way Luffy got his hat back after it blew off was character derailment? Seriously? Just because he chose to catch it as it fell does not make him a wimp, or whatever.

Yeah. If it was blowing off the edge of the islandturtle, he'd grab it in no time... but if it's coming back anyway, just grab it.
