What would be a cool opponent for this character?:

She has the power to communicate with and control the dead(or imprints of the dead, whatever works). It starts off with being able to talk with ghosts into spying on people to get information. But then she can also manipulate poltergeists to fight in battle and even send some of her own energy to regular ghosts and enhance them to the level of poltergeists. She can also have those ghosts possessing other living people and do stuff.

I'm wondering what kind of opponent would put up a cool fight against someone like her. Like what kind of power should they have. I'm also trying to think of some good weaknesses and limitations for her powers but I'm a little stuck on it at the moment. So she seems a little overpowered at the moment. So any help with any of that anyone?

An exorcist might be a worthy opponent. As would a powerful ghost that might be out of her league.

Perhaps her ghosts can only interact with the living for a very limited time, and this has a cool down phase?

How about someone who kills people by overloading their minds with unimaginable horror, so even if you can communicate with the dead all you get is "AAAAAUGH!"

It sounds silly, but it could also be Nightmare Fuel.

If she uses ghosts and such to fight, I suspect that wouldn't mesh well with the creeds of, say, a priest. Maybe you could have a Church Militant or Badass Preacher?

A medium that can detect ghosts and forsee their attacks sounds like a viable option. Or a fearless, though as nails brute that focuses on attacking the necromancer rather than the ghosts.

One weakness could be not being able to control more than X ghost at a time orbeing vulnerable while commanding them.

Someone that doesn't believe in Ghosts...who can't be harmed by Ghosts?

The Ghostbusters, of course.

In all seriousness, though, use the Ghostbusters as inspiration. Make them someone with tech-based anti-ghost powers. Perhaps anti-ghost lasers or something. Or make them steampunk if it's more of a fantasy setting. This way, you'll have a whole magic vs. technology theme to play with.

Why not the ghost of a medium. Someone who knows all the tricks of the trade and has had their powers for so long that they have thought up of every single way they could use/pervert their powers. Whats worse is that they're already dead.
Theres sex and death and human grime in monochrome for one thin dime and at least the trains all run on time but they dont go anywhere.
The system doesn't know you right now, so no post button for you.
You need to Get Known to get one of those.
