That reminds me, when playing pyro I ought to randomly puff at the air more often.

Ugh, psychic Pyros? Try psychic Soldiers! I was messing around, using the C&D, hiding in a random corner, when a Soldier walked by, and fired at me! Heck, I even tried getting away, even hiding in a random room, but the guy somehow knew where I was hiding most of the time. And I'm aware of the shimmer that happens if you run out of cloak. No, they didn't track me that way.

I tried giving the Vaccinator another go, and I really like it. It's really good in KoTH since there's not any real need for a big push most of the time, and being able to pop mini ubers on the fly is really helpful. In fact, I managed to find a competent Soldier to work with on Harvest after saving his life with it. He was pretty amazed, and pretty much trusted me to protect him. He was a pretty great pocket too, knowing when to fight, and when to go in when I saw an enemy approaching. Communication and trust is pretty much required for the Vaccinator to work well, cause that thing's great for turning the tide of small battles. Definitely a great field Medic weapon, cause not only can it overheal, it can give your patients a slight edge.

Also woo, got a misc drop! The Spectre's Spectacles!

You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!

Actually, for some reason I find playing Heavy harder than, say, Pyro or Soldier. While it's indeed easy to rain down people with boolets, I feel like I'm just not mobile enough. GRU fixes this, but this sort of limits me to Tommygruvich(just with a Dalhoks instead of a Sandvich) who, while useful, will do jack against fortified positions.

True, Pyro has the same movespeed, but it just feels easier for me to jump around and utilize shortcuts with him. As for Soldier, well, rocketjumping, even the most basic one, allows for various alternative routes.

If TF 2 were a platformer with traditional controls, that WOULD be my strategy, and Scout would have been the first class I learned. In fact, Scout is my most-played class on Gang Garrison 2.

I just suck at 3D movements, so instead I play Heavy. lol.

After so long without a single peep from the masses, yet another person came a-calling, wanting to trade for my Unusual Pencil Pusher.

Even after a bevy of Hats, Stranges and SIX Keys, I told him what I told all the others.

Nope.avi

I wish that I could be a Psychic Pyro, but I got backstabbed as one more than I'd care to admit.

[up]You're not alone. Although I haven't played pyro in a long time, I remember having some difficulties outroasting the enemy pyros and well, I kinda am bummed at the fact I got only a plain ol' vintage flare gun. I would consider a shotgun, but I'm horrendous with shotgun usage.

As for class I probably stink the most as, it'd probably be scouts, soldiers, snipers, and engineers (Believe it or not, I have a serious problem against a spy, always dodging me and stabbing me. Whenever it comes to NESgineer against a spy, the spy will win).

Really irritating, I won't be able to play TF 2 for god knows how long, it seems none of the servers in germany are even set up to handle TF 2.

the permanent attempts to validate were annoying, so I just went to delete all the Team Fortress 2 files, and reinstall them to see if that helped.

Now I can't even GET the files, which admittedly isn't much worse than the "your files are perfectly fine, but we're going to check anyways, oh, whoops, we can't, I hope you don't mind not playing"

My biggest problem as Pyro tends to be other Pyros.

^ Yes

^^ If not for the fact that Steam generally supports online multiplayer very well, I would be complaining out the wazoo about its DRM.

HUZZAH. my virginal sacrifice has appeased the great gaben and he hath bestowed upon me a new install of TF 2.

I just need to finish the consecration rites before I boot it up.

My biggest problem as Pyro tends to be other Pyros.

Remember: if you're in a flamethrower duel, the mechanics of how it registers a hit mean that a Pyro who is retreating and strafing has an advantage over the Pyro who is running forward.

Yeah, yeah. It's just I have trouble. Sometimes I'll be using the Phlog and thus be at a disadvantage due to damage reduction, or they'll airblast me away more easily then I can them, or they have a shotgun while I have a flare gun...

is it just me, or does only the glowy leading edge of the phlog actually register as a hit?

As a pyro, use the shotty. If you're not, use a melee other than the axtinguisher. Having 2 weapons that crit on fire isn't only redundant, it also leaves you open to other pyros.

The Flare Gun is used for picking off enemies who are running away, not ones at point blank range.

I love my Manmelter.

My usual Pyro loadout is either the stock, Phlog, or Backburner primary, the Manmelter, and just about any Melee.

I'm not one of those Degreaser/Reserve Shooter/Axtinguisher airblast-comboing Pyros.

[up][up][up][up]The flamethrower particles are really wonky on all the flamethrowers. Don't rely on those to tell if you're hitting a player or not.

[up][up][up]I dunno, I rather like using both the Flare gun and the Axtinguisher. If I flame someone and he's too far away, Flare gun. If he's still nearby, Axtinguishing time! Granted there are situations where I prefer using a shotgun instead (i.e. maps with water, but I don't play on too many of those.) Also, Flare gun is a fun weapon to use.

No, you don't need to do that. What will likely happen though, is Steam Guard will kick in the next time you try to log in, if it's enabled. You remember the email address you used to make the account, right?
