If it's a spin off I'd be down with an SMT approach.

But we already have SMT, so beyond having Pokemon around instead of demons, and ostensibly throwing out concepts like fusion, magnetite, and so on, I'm not really sure what would be gained from it.

@RAlexa: I believe they all work the same. The only noticeable new feature is it now displays Pokemon's IV (as in, S means 31 while E- means 0).

Unless, of course, you are talking about something else.

Which one is Vega? That Japanese one which supposedly was really good?

Honestly, I have no clue. The best way to solve that question is to ask the hacker or someone who's very familiar with the Battle Marsh.

MBL Week 5 Recap

Highlights:

Really haxy week overall. Only 3 games are "clean" games. That said, some teams such as Team Cyberbaz managed to win despite being RNG screwed.

Team We Disney got their first loss, team Mythical got their first win. All teams have at least on win and one loss by now.

The positions of the teams do not change much. The top two teams switched position, the bottom two teams also switched position. The rest stayed the same.

I always thought Drowzee and Hypno looked more like version counterparts than a single evolution line. Same kind of thing that many people feel about Crabrawler and Crabominable.

I'm still a little salty non-native pokemon don't get 'Dex entries. I want my Alolan Mawile snark.

Well, I guess it's for the best, as anything non-native with a mega at least averted the Cerebus Retcon.

I remember some jerk on GAF saying that Mawile's head jaws didn'tfunction like actual jaws since they were horns.

They do, and they evolved from steel horns. Though honestly I felt like Mawile should've been a dark type originally. At least fairy fits its trickster nature. But it looks more fairy/dark than steel/fairy. And it learned more dark type moves anyway.

The majority of Mawile's Pokedex entries mention that its jaws are actually horns that have 'transformed', whatever that means. There's probably not any connection between them and its digestive system.

They can function as actual jaws in that they can chew and stuff.

I can admit that it doesn't really LOOK Steel type, and the 'dex entries are probably just late justification.

But Steel/Fairy is too good a typing to quibble very much Even if it does need Bullet Punch.
