Digimon evolutions are supposed to be like aging mostly. The main character Digimon are special in that they use the power of the bond with their human partner to temporarily evolve up into a higher level than normal, then revert back. The only time other Digimon devolve is some extreme circumstances where they get power drained. Which remember, they are literally made of computer data.

Regular Digimon evolution is supposed to be permanent (That's why Gatomon in Adventure remains a Champion as her base form, she attained it on her own.), but in the anime the Digimon are using their human partners to reach higher stages.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.Yeah. Like others have said The evolutions in pokemon and Digimon aren't that different (though they imply Digivolution is more similar to aging).
We just usually see a more atypical version of it in the form of the digimon with human partners.
In fact, I'd say Mega-Evolution in Pokemon is much more similar to a weird combo of how normal Digimon Evolution in the first five series and how it works in Digimon Xros Wars.
That's just me though.

Warrior to the very end! My tumblr, dood!Not every day I see "Mega Evolutions are a ripoff of Digimon" talked about in a less hateful manner.
Goddammit, Schezo...If anything, while the Mega Evolution process is similar to Digivolution, Mega Evolution itself is just a generic Super Form, which doesn't belong to Digimon any more than it belongs to Dragon Ball or Ben 10.
So I'm using that exploit where you hold down the up button thru some means while running up a slope in order to level up my mons in the daycare. How long would it take for them to reach Level 100?
a few hours
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-Maeits BEEN a few hours, And my level 67 Unfezant only leveld up ONCE

a few more hours
you get 1 exp per step
and a lot of pokemon have exp totals of 1000000 or more
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeThat's 16666 hours!!
So, does anyone has a Gale Wing Fletchling? I could trade it for a Gligar with Immunity.
I tried GTS, but the one that I obtain doesn't have Gale Wing at all. And its nature is Sassy.

So it's a little more than a few hours.
I know this comes as a surprise to absolutely no one, but Illumise is terrible. What is the point of it?
I'm just gonna slap Focus Punch on it, see what happens.

Would an ability that ignores priority be broken or nah?
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseI do! Except I've just recently gotten a Gligar with Immunity. But, you could just trade me a Zigzagoon or whatever.
This one is Adamant.

Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardOnly if you give it really low Speed.
Unfezant is somewhat of a forgettable Pokemon for many people but I've always been pretty fond of its design, so I was thinking of a Mega for it
Type: Normal/Flying
Ability: Efficiency (User can use 2-turn moves* in 1 turn)
HP: 80
Atk: 115 -> 150
Def: 80 -> 85
Sp A: 65
Sp D: 55 -> 85
Spe: 93 -> 123
Appearance wise, it would be more colourful in general and have more speckled/mottled plumage with blues and greens. In particular, it would have much longer, cooler-looking tail feathers. It would also become larger and more imposing, and probably get some fiercer talons as well. As with standard Unfezant, males would have a wattle/crest thing, and females would not
I'm open to ideas for a better Ability name. The one I have is no good but I couldn't think of a better one.
I love Unfezant too, though it's complete and utter failure to have anything notable about it, competitive-wise, has left me a bit stumped as to what to do with it. Does it have anything at all? Some obscure gimmick that can be expanded upon into a Mega?
I mean Starapter pretty clearly is going to be Flying/Fighting Type with its Mega, but Unfezant (and Swellow, for that matter, but at least Swellow gets Boomburst and Scrappy) barely has anything, aside from Super Luck, and that's not much.

Swellow has Guts and STAB Façade and 125 base speed, as well as Brave Bird. Unfezant has a special movepool and high physical attack.
There are plenty of databases in the Internet with stats and movepool, it is quite easy to look what a Pokemon has at its disposal with them.
I know. I was just requesting other opinions.
Maybe its gimmick is having no moves.
Pretty much that was the gimmick with Unova 'mons. And that's a reason behind why the early game stuff, with lackluster stats, is just plain bad.
Game Freak is quite rusty at the whole "revamping movepools" business too. Just like 'Dex entries, we haven't seen anything really new for older Pokemon since Gen IV.

I remember that other Digimon shows did different stuff, like humans turning into the Digimon like Power Rangers, and Digimon fusing into gigantic mecha-like creatures. ...I'm just saying, it's very experimentative for a franchise that's lasted as long as it has.
It's been 3000 years…
