How did Meowstic never get fully paralyzed?

1. Nah, it got fully paralyzed once. 2. it depends whenever RNG feels like it wants to screw you or not.

Also, it seems that strategy would totally fall apart if they had a Dark type on their team.

It could have a coverage move since the only moves it used during the match were Assist, Barrier and Calm Mind.

And Substitute.

Alright, after having my Alpha Sapphire data corrupt (TWICE!), I finished the teeth-grindingly annoying Delta Episode (a third time) and am now in the lengthy process of rebuilding the two full boxes of bred and trained K Oing machines.

A day off and to myself has resulted in breeding a full team (since most of the breeding leftovers are still safely on my X file) and prepping them for training. Not a super competitive team but it does have a Spiker, a physical wall, a special wall, a Scarfer, and priority, so it shouldn't be awful.

Sounds like a Balance squad. What are you running?

It better not have Chansey because that thing's shit outside of stall.

This isn't for ultra competitive play but rather for playing with friends who are all semi-competitive. No real tier stuff just for shits 'n' giggles.

Which one is the special wall? Kecleon? It's more of a tank since it can actually kind of hit back.

Big props for that team, at any rate.

I'd never run it in that environment, but only because of my self-imposed law against using multiples of the same type on one team.

Delphox, actually! Will-O / Mystical Fire / Wish / Protect. I've run it in the past and it worked out surprisingly well. It's also an easy switch in on annoying jerks that like to burn my many physical attackers that prefer to not have their attack lowered. Will-O + Mystical Fire allows Antonidas to force more switches to rack up that sweet entry hazard damage and generally disrupt the opponent.

Honestly, I'm a sucker for Normal-types. I've even made a Mono-Normal team in the past, including special wall Lopunny who I will get around to making later.

It's not uncommon to have at least a couple mons share one type in a competitive team.

Hell, there's a semi-memetic strategy that revolves around it called Birdspam. It hasn't been good since X and Y, but you can still run it.

Also Drag Mag.

Ghost and Grass

I know the Illuminate convo was pages ago, but I wanted to bring up that Illuminate is very useful for shiny hunting in Friend Safaris and for the Repel Trick.

Still too limited in use though.

Swampfire is Grass/Fire, same for Ultimate/Mega Swampfire

Cannonbolt is Rock, Mega/Ultimate Cannonbolt is Steel

Echo Echo is Normal with a bunch of sound moves, Mega/Ultimate Echo Echo is Normal/Steel

Humongasaur is Rock, Mega/Ultimate Humongasaur is Rock/Steel

Ghostfreak is Ghost/Dark

Big Chill is Ice/Ghost, Mega/Ultimate Big Chill is Ice/Ghost with an Ability that adds a chance to Burn with every Ice attack

any others?

Fourarms is just a Machamp.
