Nothing of the sort ever happens to me—meaning that if I get the odd chill through my body, it's largely because I totally gave in to my overblown sensitivity for a second.

Oh. And on life seeming fake, usually... for some reason, unless it's a particularly momentous situation (like graduating, or a major crisis, or losing one's virginity or something), life doesn't seem like it's happening to me. There's no gravitas at all.

I may have said it before, but my analogy is that it's a lot like playing a first-person video game— you can see through the character's eyes and control them and stuff, but there's always a vague disjunct, a separation between you and them.

That's what living is like for me, and it's weird. Maybe it's just that my mind is always somewhere else.

I do get massive, panic-inducingly strong deja vu every now and then.

I get deja vu a lot. Very convincing deja vu, despite the fact that logically, the situation could not have happened before. Sometimes, two or three times.

Maybe I can see the future?

Boy, I sound like a big, old, adorable pile o' crazy right now don't I?

^ I get that too. It's just annoying, because there's only been one instance where I remembered the dream before the moment of deja vu.

I get the scary kind of deja vu for totally unrealistic things. I'm talking trippy dreamscapes that could never, ever exist.

I have lots of deja vu. The last and first time I had a panic attack about it was when I was contact high on pot and didn't know it. Then I puked into the harbor.

Well I'll invade your body; don't try to stop me. We're not Oingo Boingo but it's a dead man's party. So set your little hotties out on the front porch. We'll have them for dinner and make love to the corpses. Because blood is as sweet as moonshine whiskey. Join our side, you can drink some with me. We want guts to spill, you know the deal. I get those odd little shivers, too. And I confess I find them oddly gratifying.

^^^ Deja vu. "Vu" is the past tense of "To see". "Vous" is plural/formal "you".

Anyway.

Not only does this avatar make me want to sexually harass people, but now I want an empire of mentally homogenous people. I think I should be worried for myself...?

I get deja vu every so often myself, but it's generally on mild things.

When I get deja vu a large section of events tend to hop into my head, and when I get the chance I do something that I didn't see coming.

Ironic thing is, since I've been doing this so frequently, now my deja vu moments are mainly composed of me trying to mess with my own deja vu. The brain is a funny thing, I've realized.

I get deja vu from time to time. I've even gotten it for conversations on this very forum. Weird thing about my deja vu is that I usually get the sense that I've dreamed about a particular location, thing, or event.

Indeed, that dog is hot.
I get the occasional shiver down my spine too. I'm surprised this is a common thing apparently. I guess its just another one of those bodily quirks some people have, like how I change my sitting position every few minutes to something else. I could be leaning forward, staring intently on the screen/book one moment, and then slouching down the next with my head in my hand. Sometimes I like to rest my head on my elbow too. For this reason I think many people believe I'm restless.

Deja vu is pretty common for me, but only once or twice have I been mentally shocked by it. I remember though the first it ever happened to me I sort of freaked about because I didn't know what had happened.

Getting it mildly must be nice. I want to beat the deja vu out of my head because it feels like a whole world just out of reach of my memory, which actually can't be remembering the things because they've never happened, and makes the whole world look different for a while.

That sounds very similar to how I feel when I wake up in the morning and can't remember my dreams, even though their on the tip of my consciousness.

I'm honestly not surprised that I have deja vu sometimes. My life is rather repetitive.

I also get shivers like that Blackmoon. I used to think they didn't happen to anyone. Maybe they're common? Or maybe we all just have the same disease that'll kill us in twenty years?

I also get deja vu very often like that, Blackmoon. It's actually disorienting when I get it, too. I mean, I've actually fallen down in the past while having it. And once I fell further into the chair I was already sitting in. And I sank into a bed another time...
