"And that is why he will be banned"
Or they, y'know, can patch the game.
The Tekken community is letting this slide.
youtube.com/Fire Trainer 92So...after seeing the trailer for the Wii U version I'm kinda torn. Should I still rent the PS 3 version, or wait until the Wii U version comes out?
Time to leave them all behindI guess it depends on how much you want Nintendo references.
Please tell me Unknown isn't as difficult as Azazel is. >.>
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting Agency
Nowhere near. Whenever I play alone (ie, not in pair play with my friend who knows Lili on a very average level), I never loose to her. Azazel gave me a rough time all the time. Unknown's BS is only suffered if you don't block. Except the giant hand, but that can be avoided if you either go at her aggressively, or keep your distance.
the color todayWhat a relief. Another Tekken game where I might actually enjoy Arcade Mode! Cause Azazel was the suck.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyI finally got a chance to sit down and play this earlier today - thank God for guys with nothing better to spend their money on but 3D PS 3 T Vs and like.
Any one else agree that it feels... floatier than earlier Tekkens? I can't really think of another way to describe the gameplay. And gosh, it's great to have Alex and Michy C back - even the little things that make the clones different from their fellows are nice touches.
Define...floaty.
Sidestep that, bro.I think I'm finally starting to crack the surface of the combo system now, it seems to have opened up to me a bit more than before. Still trying to learn Korean backdash canceling though, it's hard on a pad for me.
Also Harada says certains issues wil be fixed.
Last but not least, a somewhat amusing glitch you should watch out for:
I just basically do b,b,qcb,b,qcb,b,qcb to BDC. You get used to it.

I'm pretty sure that Hashil meant that characters stay in the air longer, which makes juggling a bit easier. I see why, with this being a tag game.

Time for nitpicks!!
1: Moonlit Wilderness. While I may not understand everyone's boner for that stage in Tekken 5, I will begrudgingly admit that I'd rather be fighting in the field than in the mansion.
2: What's with the alternate costumes? A majority of them make the character look like complete tools! Thank God for customization.
3: Can anyone give me a reason why Tekken, (or even Namco as a whole) doesn't have it's own Crowning Music of Awesome page?
Also, I don't care what anyone says; Hot Pants Hwoarang is quite possibly my favorite thing in this game!

Don't ask what's wrong with me, because I don't know either.I'll try that anyway.
In answer to your third point, perhaps no one just got around to it?
I think the alternates are hit and miss. Some are quite good, others way worse. They could have made customisation a little less clunkier at some points but I think it's very good overall.
I want Jin's Tekken 6 'I'm evil' outfit back. That coat was BOSS!
Hopeless VanityI'm a little worried that paid DLC will be required for this game to have customization options comparable to 6's.
By floatier, I mean that everything feels a little faster paced/fluid (which is good), and, as someone already said, every other move seems to put you into orbit for a second or so.
Agreed on the secondary outfits, too. Ed went from being a sharply dressed cat in his alts to some chump in a leather jacket.
I've seen a video of a match-up that had the characters in their Alt T6 outfits about a month ago. Good to see Hwoarang in his custom gi again.
Oh, here it is:

Hopeless Vanity@Hashil, I Was Just Passing By:
Ah, I see. Yep, I'd have to agree the game is more fluid now with partners tagging in and out. The Tag Assault is arguably the floatiest mechanic in the game, and I find the slow-mo bound with the sound effect really exhilarating (that is, if I'm administering the combo, hah!).
Sidestep that, bro.
Only select characters have their old alternates available, and those usually have to be unlocked in customizations.
the color todayBut that's the arcade version.
Because of all of the extra content that comes with home ports (online play and customization being the most taxing), TTT 2 had to go through a slight graphical downgrade to keep the gameplay smooth. The most noticeable of which being an overall lack of clothing physics (and winning animations).
I don't like being so nitpicky, but I'd rather not have the DLC of former costumes if it can't be rendered "properly" (Marshall's T6 2P). Besides, the classic costumes are so perfectly tailored to their respective characters that it's such a stark contrast to the generic-yet-subtley tailored stuff in the game.
Don't ask what's wrong with me, because I don't know either.So... about that DLC.
Opinions?
Don't ask what's wrong with me, because I don't know either.@ Passing By: The most recent batch?
Also, I find the FGC losing their mind over the alleged Kunimitsu crouching hitbox "glitch" more than a bit baffling (to put it nicely), especially when it's clear that it was intentional on Harada & co.'s part (and it's not even like she's immune to every single mid in the game either). It really shouldn't have been patched out, or, at least, not so soon. Not when the game's only been out for barely over a month. This is essentially Sentinel all over again.
Anyway, I have some videos. Not TTT2, but I think everyone will get a kick out of 'em.
Never underestimate the power of pissed-off nerddom.
On a side note: I'm finding Slim Bob a lot more fun to play as that I originally thought.
Coupled with Forest, I think I may have finally found my makeshift Bimmy & Jimmy Lee.

Don't ask what's wrong with me, because I don't know either. If it was the first patch the game received...then they already knew about it and planned it from the get go. Same with MVC 3 Sentinel.
Besides, only ones who were bitching about Kuni were those who don't really play the game enough to realize it wasn't a big deal.

I found Jun and Unknown to be pretty fearsome, though I can beat them. Eventually.
I would say Dr.B would probably be the most popular, he looks like a right riot to use.
