Why the Hell is True Ogre always huger than he is in the actual game?
...Also, Angel, jesus christ
Didn't they size up True Ogre a bit in this one?
And I agree. She swoops down all graceful and ladylike, y'know, like an angel, and then, pow! Nightmare Face out of nowhere. She must really, really hate evil entities.
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadI don't think so, True Ogre looks the same size to me.
Might the angles shown in the trailer or something, passing the illusion he's bigger than normal.
They're really going all-out on this, aren't they?
I seriously can't think of any clever joke.I think I liked the costumes in 6 better.
That Jaycee one isn't bad. Looks like a mix between Black Widow and Arachne. El Kabong Miguel is kinda cool too.
Anna looks like... Octopus!I-No...
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadOne of the things I expect from the news such as these is actual info about WHO ARE THESE DESIGNERS!?
It seems the western video game press doesn't even care.
I can only pick up Ogure Ito from my mind, known as Oh! Great, creator of Tenjho Tenge and Air Gear, he seems to have become a regular on collaborations with Bamco as he worked on Soul Series before, designer of Ashlotte.
Ah, there's also Kotobukiya's artwork for Asuka, used for her PVC figure, now available as an alternate character select portrait.

Yeah, it would be nice if I knew what these artists/designers worked on in the past.
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadI finally mangaged to buy Tekken Hybrid and I like the gameplay for Tag 2 based on what seen and played from it. Can't wait now.
Those costumes I think are naff to be honest. Expect for Miguel. It kinda works for him in my opinion.
@X:I'm really out of touch now with music these days. Well good luck to him I guess.
I know, right?
If you wanna know about Bamco's past collaborations, I believe Tekken and Soul Calibur wikias have them.
This wiki has Soul Calibur collaborations at least, on Soul Series characters page.

To Wikipedia!
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadThe bit about the Tekken Tag aspect possibly being standard is intriguing.
Intriguing indeed, in my humble opinion it shouldn't become the standard.
What good would be merging two good standards that works perfectly as separated parties.
The Tag series and the Main series are two different things that works greatly as they are, all the more reason to hype for one at the given time, then hype for the other which will come.
I agree. Having the Tag gameplay mechanics only for the dream match games makes it seem, just that extra special. That's how I feel about it anyway.
Wait. I know it's random, but I just realized that the Moonlit Wilderness stage is in the UK. That's interesting. After all these years I thought that the stage was in Greece or Romania or somewhere.
Hopeless VanityCan I ask if we've ever decided how to pronounce Hworang's name? I just go with what the announcer says (it sounds like "how wrong").
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyI remember that it sounded like 'Hwa-rang' in Tekken 3 and Tag 1. Sounds like 'How-rong' in later installments. I used to called him Wayne back in the day.
Hopeless VanityIt's pronounced Hwarang. Hwah. Rahng.
Don't ask what's wrong with me, because I don't know either.Ditto.
Hopeless VanityHere's a series of screencaps with commentary going over customization.
There's a lot of nice stuff but...
Goddamn it! Tops and gloves are still stuck together! Same goes for lower body wear and boots! Why? Why stick them together when they were separate in 6?
the color todayIf I had to hazard a guess, perhaps to save disc space/memory/whatever. It could change with future DLC I guess but we'll see.
After letting myself rant just a little on youtube, I think I'm over it. I'm still somewhat frustrated that the issue was never addressed or explained by anyone. Hopefully the rest of the options will make up for it.
And of course the fantastic gameplay.
the color todaySeems like they're going all out with this game, making it a good and proper EVENT, so I'm sure there's a good reason.
Despite the fact that, in this particular case, buying used might still be able to save them a bit of money. Perhaps not that coveted $20, but saving money is saving money, right?
Whatever happened to people using their brains for a change?
