Tekken Tag Tournament 2

Maybe I just missed it but there doesn't seem to be a thread for the upcoming Tekken Tag Tournament 2 here.

So I think we're all eager to see our old favorites in new graphics. Like Jun Kazam and...er, Jun Kazama. And maybe that ninja chick? I dunno. I'm mainly looking forward to Jun Kazama.

Also I really hope they bring Unknown back.

Remember her? Sexy chick with sweet stage music? Possessd by a demon? Made a lot of us Tekken nerds speculate on who she was even though TTT (and TTT 2) is non-canon?

I see Namco is still coming up with character designs that vary wildly even among the same character. I could hardly recognize the guy, but than I didn't play Tekken 6 so I suppose that doesn't help.

Am I the only one hoping Alex and Kunimitsu will sneak their way back into this one?

And of course now that they've both said that, expect them to be teamed up often.

There is no way my body (or my wallet) would be ready if this was coming out any time soon in the States.

The article I got that from claims Jaycee (the luchadora) plays exactly like Julia. Plus we've got Jinpachi and what looks like Jun Kazama back in action for the first time since the first Tag.

People, please, you're missing the important analysis this site is known for: will Lili and Asuka recognize their feelings for each other in the heat of battle? Did Heihachi sell his soul to the devil to become younger (and acquire a not-dead VA)? Is that "unknown" girl that Lili is peeking at with her high-tech opera glasses really a not-dead Jun Kazama? Is Leo really a girl or a boy? And why is Jinpachi still there?

Also, gameplay.

This one's non-canon like the first tag, but some fluff they released a little while back states that Heihachi got his hands on the elixir of life to become younger in this alternative timeline. Why Jinpachi and what might be Jun are still kicking are anyone's best guess.

@Leo's gender: the moment its gender is decided is the moment I stop playing Leo altogether: that's half the fun of the character.

Lili is just a tad bit too interested in her rivalry with Asuka (it's essentially a distaff version of Hwoarang and Jin, which is why Hwo/Lili is a pretty popular Crack Pairing). This game and 6 don't seem to be doing the two girls any favors: a heated, semi-love-hate rivalry, complete with a very perky hi-five when they win a tag team match? Put on your Shipping Goggles and... voila! LESBIANS!

EDIT: Oh, and Jun Kazama! I think I just died and went to Heaven!

The only pairings I ship are Jinx Nina and Miguel Caballero Rojo x all Tekken females.

Seriously I definitely want Devil and Devil Jin vs. Lars and Heihachi in the opening movie

I've always thought pairings were fine as long as you can justify it in a way that doesn't boil-down to "OMG Hotness!"

I actually quite like the idea of Lili x Asuka, although I don't actually ship it.

I like Lili x Hwo, and I'm not sure why.

Jinx Nina because well on their likes they both have each other on there and Miguel Caballero Rojox Tekken females because I find him cool~shrugs~ I don't really know

I'm more of a Jin/Xiaoyu guy myself, but Jin's pretty much a Celibate Hero, so I don't think he'll be hooking up with anyone any time soon (so, no Xiao, no Nina, no Christie, etc.). Y'know? Wants his cursed bloodline to end with him?

His priorities have changed haven't they ? He wanted to kill off all the Mishimas,but that's not gonna happen

Which is your guys' favorite Mishima(fighting wise and as a character) between Heihachi,Kazuya, Jinpachi,Lars and Jin

Wait, Lars is a Mishima? I guess I don't pay enough attention.

I haven't used any of them in-game, but my favorite character is Heihachi.

Lars is Heihachi's long lost (doesn't speak a lick of) Swedish son, which explains the hair and goofy anime teleport spam. It's supposed to be a big reveal in the story mode in 6.
