There are characters where my lust involves more wanting to WATCH. Which makes me a voyeur, I guess. There are series where I'm impatiently waiting for the characters to actually get it on.

Oh, last night I was so fawning over Adelaide that I forgot Ribbon! Bonus points because she is a fairy.

Oh, and that Meganekko fairy Queen.
Pictures of Adelaide and Ribbon please. Because I have NO IDEA who or what you're talking about, and Google is unhelpful.

Dude, Adeleine. I saw that name in Wikipedia and was wondering if you were referring to her.

I got her name wrong?

I don't know what it is with the Tales of Symphonia guys, but Dawn of the New World has given me a new appreciation for Regal while also giving me Richter. Not enough people wear glasses, srsly.

... Yes. People in general. Girls totally make passes at guys who wear glasses.

Aand if I ever had to have a lesbian experience, Olivia from Fringe. Not that I'd say no to Peter, though...

I'm asexual, so I can't really say I have a PSL for him, but I find Dr. Loboto very attractive. Actually, maybe that's why I find him so appealing. He's quite sexless. Don't worry, I'm not one of those fangirls who draws bishified pictures of him; I like him the way he looks in-game, even with the creaky voice and blue skin and chinlessness.

He's just so darn strange. You can't tell if he's going to hit you with a pointy ball of scrap metal and crack open your skull with a fire poker or have a tea party with you until it's too late. It irks me somewhat when people write him as a horrible, evil, little-Japanese-girl-raping (I am not making this up, search ff.net) maniac without including his Cloud Cuckoolander Large Ham tendencies. Not that making him a harmless Mary Sue-mentoring lead singer in an emo band is any better. (Once again, IANMTU.) (Also, he looks like he may have crossdressing tendencies. Seriously, look at him.) I have a thing for psychotic, not-conventionally-attractive doctors, anyway... He seems to have some sort of Victorian thing goin' on too, with the brass and wrought iron.

Unrelated, but you have no idea how happy and heartwarmed I felt when I saw that little "Oh, good. Made of Meat is about to settle this thing." message above the comment box!

Now this isn't quite the same, since it's a real person, but I really have some sort of perverse sexual lust for Jennifer Connelly's eyebrows. I love how they look! Dark, low, thick — they give her an interesting, exotic look that none of the other plucked, arched pencil-thin line actresses in Hollywood seem to have.

.. Yes. People in general. Girls totally make passes at guys who wear glasses.

This has never, ever, ever happened to me and my glasses are a centimetre thick in parts.

Don't Judge Me!

Actually, I always liked Orko. Probably because I never watched the show, but had the dolls ACTION FIGURES! Yew stoopid woman! Can you not see how manly they are?

I have a massive girl-crush on Takano Miyo. Claudia Wolf too. There's something about maniacal religious blonde woobie destroyers of worlds. Ffff.

I have discovered that I appear to have a substantial crush on Persona 4's Yukiko Amagi... and I haven't even played the game. This can't be good...

Think like a Mad Genius!
I have a thing (and this counts for real life too, not just in the realm of PSL, ) for girls who are small, cute, spunky and can take care of themselves. Bonus points if they happen to be athletic or muscular, and more bonus points if they happen to be goth or punk types.

My PSL ur-example is most definitely Toph, because, let's face it, she could and would pwn every character in the series, except perhaps the old guys. Other prime examples include Midna from Twilight Princess (cute, sassy, AND a dominatrix!), and Tetra from Wind Waker, although she definitely suffered some serious Badass Decay over the course of that game.

Let it be known, that I managed to have my cake and eat it too...the girl I'm dating is the living embodiment of my PSL...oh yes...

I wear glasses, Zetaseal! I wear glasses!

...Wow, that sounded a lot less desperate, lonely, and pathetic in my head. *Nervous laugh* ^_^;
I'm nobody, who are you? Are you nobody too?

Don't feel bad, Scrounge; I've gotten crushes on people before simply because I thought their LiveJournal icons were cute.
Taking suggestions for a new sig. PM me or something!
Usually when I see a cute girl in an avatar picture, I ask where that character is from.

So far, that's turned up Meta4's Gunnerkrigg Court, Tzetze's webcomicwhosenameidontremember with a crazy psychotic loner or something, someone else's self-drawn character, and someone else's something I can't remember.

Out of left field... I was delving through the Spam folder in my Gmail to see if a legitimate message I was waiting for had landed there by mistake (it hadn't), and the subject line of one of the top messages read "We can make your man's volcano erupt like a famous Etna!"

...yeah, I know that's the name of an actual volcano (hell, it came up earlier in this topic, if memory serves). But is it wrong that my first thought was of another famous Etna? waii
the dice are loaded, the deck is stacked, the game itself will hold you back
Well, there was Midna, a contributor here and an occasional (former?) forum-goer who admitted PSL for Etna, and once had an alternate profile called Etna.

So when people talk about the volcano, thanks to him I think of this joke. Even though I have no clue who Etna is, because I have had no exposure to Disgaea (I think she's from Disgaea, am I right?).

Ayup. There's a reason the meme is "Everyone is Loli for Etna." Seriously, just look at what she's wearing!

@GMH: For me, the girl in question had Azumanga Daioh icons, specifically Osaka and Yomi. (This was actually the first I'd heard of AD, way back in 2004.) Turns out she was plenty geeky, and a halfway-decent friend, but so incredibly shy that she became a drag after a while (not to mention having a Slap-Slap-Kiss relationship with "the only person who'd ever love her" — can we say Love Martyr, kids?) Needless to say, actually dating was out of the question.

Lesson taken away: No, it's not "don't get crushes on people for strange reasons" (though that's certainly a great rule of thumb), it's "people get to know each other for a reason".

I still love Osaka and Yomi, though, to the point where my main Linux server is still named "yomi" after all these years.

"Seriously, just look at what [Etna]'s wearing!"

Okay, I just did a Google image search, and that is (almost disturbingly) stripperiffic as all hell.
