Arcade MF fun fact: She plays a Duck Hunt game, and Gangplank plays part as being the Duck Hunt Dog.
This is just a reminder that you can still swap your NA fantasy players around until 12 PM PDT / 21:00 CEST on Friday. Remember, CLG will field a sub in each position, so your regulars will contribute exactly zero points.
Just gotta say I love getting Lux on ARAMs

It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesSome people love that too
That and Xerath and Sona and Nidalee and Janna
They love it enough to make accounts solely for the purpose of getting these champs
Eh. Sona is not an instant win for ARAM, IMO.
Yesterday I played one where I was Ashe, was with a Wukong and Graves, and the other two team members were Janna and Nami.
All the enemy team had to do was build Thornmail and they won (They even had a RAMMUS. In fact, they had Rammus, Soraka, Garen, Mordekaiser and another I don't remember. Syndra, maybe?) but not a single one of them even BEGAN to build any armor...bizarre, since that sort of teams are the ones I generally get, instread of fight
It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothesI've only just realized Gnar's splash art has him standing in a large footprint with some blood splattered on his front arms and face because he only just finished raging and squashed someone.
How long does it usually take between Champion reveals and when they're implemented in the game?
"What's out there? What's waiting for me?"Usually not long if I recall. But then I'm only familiar with reveals from like the past year so Jinx, Aatrox, Yasuo, Vel'koz, Braum, and Lucian, and I think I joined the game JUST as Lissandra was introduced.
In my year +3 months of playing that's more or less six champs released I guess once every 2.5 months and if I recall they come out like a week or two after their announcement if not by the next patch.
EDIT: A psychotic gunslinger, a hearty sheildsman, a knowledge seeking elderitch creature, A wind based ronin, a demon of war, and a justice-seeking gunslinger. Man, this game gets creative with its characters, doesn't it? I mean so much diversity in a single year.
But Only one black dude... I feel excluded

But then there's only one indian in the league and most indians probably don't mind.
Ha. Is that reference to like Lo L's championship thingies I don't pay attention to?
I'm a black geek, I fall under some spectrum of their target audience and as a creator and artist they I tend to notice stupid little things like representation being so well travelled and all. The abundance of people that can be considered "white" are only matched by how many can be considered "East Asian" due to the sheer amount of characters that come from or seem descended from Ionia.
But I should shut up now, stupid soapbox, doesn't stop me from loving the game, world, or characters and I will always adore seeing more champs.
The Blog The ArtNah, you're absolutely right. It's been a known thing for years that there are zero (now one) black people in Lo L. It was so silly that Ryze used to be the standin black guy, because he's been to rune prison.
Well, his Human skin's splash looks pretty brown.
The actual skin...isn't.
That too.
I thought Ryze was black due to certain physiological features, and he still might and we just can't tell anymore because he's indigo now.
I take it the prison thing is supposed to be some Lo L forum in-joke about Ryze being an honorary black dude due to being in jail?
EDIT: Looking at his tribal skin.... yeah. They went far enough on pale side of the the Ambiguously Brown scale that it's hard to tell but because of society he can be assumed as white.

The Blog The ArtYeah, I kinda thought he did have features like one too.
So I assumed the racist joke relies on that as well.
BUUUUUUUUTTT you know being purple and blue confuzzles it still.
Isn't one of Ryze's spells called Rune Prison?
...Yes, it's the one that roots the target for a short time.
Anyway, this reminds me of how I was slightly uncomfortable with how, out of the seventeen females in Dota 2, only one of them has Strength as her primary stat.
"What's out there? What's waiting for me?"Ryze's /joke is "I got these tattoos in Rune Prison." Because of the spell, yes.
Legion Commander sounds like absolute awesome, though.
And I suppose strictly speaking, very few of said human male strength heroes in Dota 2 have their might explained solely by their body's physical capabilities. Actually, it kinda looks like Tresdin is the only one to be interpretable to be Badass Normal to me while all the other human males have to use weird magic or something to fight, like pansies.
Ergo Legion Commander is manliest human in Dota 2 despite being a woman
I almost beat a dual support aram team 4v5 but it didn't quite work out -_-
"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"Taric used to be distinctly black in his old splash ◊, but then they kinda whitewashed him.

I unfortunately didn't have a chance to try out the mightyness of Braum due to being out of the country with shotty internet connection. Sucks, too, considering that I can actually handle Support rather well.
Gnar better wait a couple weeks, dammit.
