This was a dream I had last summer, and wrote down. There was a house that was haunted by a woman who was murdered by her husband, and whoever went into the house got murdered by her ghost. A person in the dream was explaining this to a group of people. I can't remember exactly what happened after that but I recall me and a group of people were in this steam punk room underground. One of the guys was messing around with the technology and went inside this small chamber next to some machinery. Then an alarm went off in the room, with a red light flashing on and off. Water started filling the room, and everyone started to panic, the guy in the chamber tried to get out but the door got stuck, and the chamber started getting filled with water. Me and this other guy tried to help him, looking through the machinery trying to find a button or something, but the water started rising higher and everyone else started scurrying up the ladder to leave the room. Eventually we gave up and more or less left the guy in the chamber behind, as the poor guy spent his last breath of oxygen crying out for help, before the chamber became filled with water. When the water drained out we came back and the guy in the chamber's body was gone. After that event I was walking through an alley and saw my mom talking about that ghost and how she more less was now an angry and vengeful spirit. That was when I woke up.

Interesting fact, the night I had this dream I couldn't fall asleep until 4 AM and I had to wake up at 7 AM that day to babysit my cousins, and this ended up being the dream in those three hours of sleep.

Last night: I had one of those dreams where I'm watching a movie I watch in real life, but, being in a dream, it was completely different.

In this case, I was watching Mulan, and it was playing through normally for the most part (except Ling, Yao, and Chein Po were oddly absent for most of it) until the end when the mother of all Shocking Swerves occurred: Chi Fu wound up being the Big Bad instead of Shan Yu. I don't remember what all the plot twist entailed, but I do remember that the reasoning was explained in a long drawn-out backstory sequence that made no sense whatsoever.

I just had one where I'm a 12-year old princess on a starship that was wrecked in an assassination attempt. All the officers were killed and the electrical systems were pretty much gone. The entire dream was me standing in CiC with a grease pencil and a map while trying to make sense of what just happened.

This was from some time ago, but I just remembered it.

So there was this girl I knew in an area inside my school building, but outside the classrooms, in a space between the classrooms if you like. She was sitting down at a table, apparently crying over something. I tried to cheer her up, but failed spectacularly. She got incredibly angry at me. I was somehow Driven to Suicide by this and put one of my legs over the railing preventing people from falling to their death. When I got one leg over though, I started having second thoughts. Annoyed by my failed consolation, she shoved me over the edge. I landed straight onto big metal things similar to bins from about 10-15m up, and I don't know if I even died or just got hurt REALLY bad.

I was getting terrible service at some kind of Asian restaurant and left a nasty note for the manager. They proceeded to chase me out of the restaurant and I lost myself by hiding in some kind of country music convention being held at a hotel next door. I tried to pass myself off as a roadie for Florida Georgia Line, who suprisingly let me roll with it.

I had a dream that I was at a party with a bunch of filthy rich strangers. My little brother somehow knew them. My daughter was there, and I decided to take her home because the people at the party were doing things that were not appropriate for children (one was blatantly cheating on her husband, one was hiring a hitman, and there was a massive amount of cocaine use).

So I drove the kid home, came back, and found a massive diamond engagement ring. I decided to take it to the police station so it wouldn't get stolen. A housecleaner thought I was stealing it, and threatened to have me jailed because "That ring is worth more than $72." Yeah, orders of magnitude more, that's why I'm taking it to the police station!

Speaking of police, some of the party guests were police officers (off duty, the guys who I work with). They didn't see anything wrong with the ridiculous amount of drugs being done.

Finally, I saw my twin brother. He had been partying and doing drugs with all the other guests. I yelled at him, because he knows better. He interrupted me and said that he's from the past. Past Bro doesn't know better, but does have access to a time machine because he operates in an alternate timeline. Present Bro is home, sleeping, and will not be affected by Past Bro's shenanigans.

So in this one I was playing Marvel vs. Capcom 3. My threesome was Mamma Luigi, except he was using Hotel Luigi's portrait, a Grey Fox Expy with a recoloured Samus helmet named Akira and AOSTH Robotnik, who may or may not have been nicknamed "PINGAS" ingame. I don't remember my opponent's team.

Mamma Luigi and Robotnik had half HP, but Akira had about 1 hp left. Apparently striking someone while Robotnik isn't active caused the words "I CAN SUMMON EVEN HIM NOW" to appear over his portrait. Pressing the assist button right after caused Robotnik to freeze the opponent in place for a second, before booting them offscreen, Battle Toads style, forcing them to switch to a random fighter if applicable. Oddly, other than that Robotnik was a Stone Wall and possibly a Lethal Joke Character.

A lot happened in my dream last night. I think it started with me and my family being chased by these awful people (I think they were Count Olaf and his troupe). The only way to defeat them was by going into the world of a video game and getting a certain coin. The coin appeared after you defeated a boss, but as soon as it appeared, it would start quickly moving toward the edge of a cliff until it fell off, and then you had to restart the game. My little brother was near the edge of the cliff, so I thought he would grab it, but he just stood there, so we kept having to restart the game. I think one time, I accidentally pushed him off the cliff as I was running for the coin. surprised

Then my dad and I were at the edge of a pond. We saw a baby alligator in there, and my dad actually picked it up and threw it to the other side of the pond! Then I saw some sort of screen where people online were having an argument over whether Sans and Papyrus would win in a fight. I wanted to join the conversation, but to log in, I had to get on a computer in a haunted mansion nearby. I found the computer and kept trying to log in, but I kept getting jumpscared and "killed" by a skeleton, making me respawn outside the mansion. When I finally logged in, I said Papyrus would win, and only one other person agreed.

The next thing I remember was being part of a group of people doing fandubs for video games and other stuff. The only roles I definitely remember doing were Ganon and Nightmare. There was also something Mario-related we did. I wanted to be Bowser, but instead I got the part of another character with a deep voice.

The next thing I remember was watching Cartoon Network. I finished an episode of Regular Show, but during the credits, Mark Hamill (the voice of Skips) made a voiceover announcing that he was leaving the show, and that Cartoon Network was holding auditions for a new voice actor for Skips.

Then I was watching The Amazing World of Gumball, and the episode was about Gumball and Darwin trying to save a creature that resembled a cross between a clam and an octopus from some scientists.

I dreamed that I was watching TV and there was this amazing crossover event going on. It was between several animated Disney Channel shows (primarily Phineas and Ferb), several Nickelodeon shows (with Hey Arnold! and The Loud House standing out), and even PBS shows like Arthur. There were tons of cameos from other characters from all those channels plus Cartoon Network, and it was airing on all three of the Big Three kid's networks plus PBS and ABC.

The plot of the crossover, if I remember correctly, had barely any Fourth Wall and revolved around numerous characters/shows appearing on the wrong channels (I remember The Loud House was on PBS and Arthur was on Cartoon Network. Wraparound segments between shows (plus one two-part animated TV special) involved Phineas and Ferb building a portal system with the help of Jimmy Neutron (and Buster Baxter) to transport everyone back to the correct channels. The Big Bad was Doofenschmirtz-2 from Phineas And Ferb The Movie Across The Second Dimension, though I don't remember what his motive for switching all the characters was. I can't remember all of the plot points, though I do remember the good guys had a setback when Francine Frensky got impatient and entered a portal before the system could be perfected, necessitating some of the good guys (in a group that I think consisted of Arthur, Buster, Lincoln Loud, and Phineas) to go and search for her.

In the end, Doof-2 was defeated in a manner similar to Across the Second Dimension, and everyone was returned to their normal places. The crossover event ended with an airing of the aforementioned movie. I woke up halfway through it, though.

I kind of wish that were a real thing, because it was way more epic than the description may have made it sound. I'd love to see a crossover event like that. It was like what Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue should have been.

I only remember the last part of this.

I was at a university open day, for a computer science course apparently. The last part of that involved a challenge.

This challenge was to glue pizza slices back together with slices of pepperoni and small candles. I won, despite having absolutely no idea what I was doing and starting last.

So, in last night's one, I went shopping for clothes and videogames with Katara. In a mall that on the outside looked like a mountain in the middle of the ocean. (Come to think of it, it looked suspiciously like the entrance to the world of monsters in Moana)

For some reason, I keep having dreams about being chased by Count Olaf. I guess I just love the Adult Fear he inspires.

So anyway, most of this dream was about him chasing after me, as well as sending other people after me, to kill me for some reason.

At one point, I was reading the show's page on this very wiki, and (because I'm kind of a Spoiler Hound) I read that he was eventually going to go One-Winged Angel and turn into a giant monster that resembled a cross between a bunch of different sea creatures, although some parts were made of non-animals, like kelp and anchors and stuff.

There was another part where I was looking through my Wii games, trying to decide which one to play. I eventually settled on what I thought was my copy of New Super Mario Bros. Wii. When I turned the game on, all my save files had been erased, and there were other subtle things wrong with the game.

Then there was a scene with... Steven Universe characters, I think? We were in this room with several doors, and behind each door was a pool containing some sort of magical water. There were these monsters that swam in each pool, somehow corrupting the water, so we had to go in each room and defeat every monster.

Later, Count Olaf sent this Japanese woman after me and some other kids. She apparently transported each of us into a different dimension, and told us separately that if we got her questions wrong, she would torture us, but if we answered correctly. In my room, she placed an enormous diamond and asked me if I wanted it. I said not really. She said I had passed one test, and all I had to do was escape the dimension. She said I should already know how to do it, and all I had to do was use my hands.

Obviously, I had no idea what to do, so I tried making a shadow puppet of a bird. Birds represent freedom, right? The Japanese woman said that was incorrect and began using her magic powers to torture me. However, she said that because of my creative answer, she would let me go after torturing me.

I only remember small bits of this one.

It involved a theme park based on The Legend of Zelda. (Someone dressed as) Link let me through a door? At a completely different point in time I found a loose screw on a train. I kept it for a bit then met (someone dressed as) Impa... Who told me something like that the train would have to be permanently closed or something if I kept this screw? And apparently Zelda was pretending to be possessed by Ganondorf.

I had two dreams last night, and I only remember the second one.

I was playing a weird version of Metroid Prime, which I know almost nothing about because I've only read about it in Nintendo Power back when it was still running.

Anyway, I remember reading that Samus had an Evil Counterpart in this game, so Evil!Samus appeared at the beginning of the game... naked. I was Distracted by the Sexy, and she killed me multiple times.

Later, I was attacked by these robots riding what looked like jetskis. The robots all resembled Dr. Nefarious.

...and that's all I remember, actually. tongue

I think this one makes a bit more sense.

It involved a beta version of Pokémon Sun and Moon. There was a Pinsir-Magmar hybrid for whatever reason. There was also a different battle scene for Lusamine, what if it taking place outside under storm clouds the ones that appear when Nebby is forced to create Ultra Wormholes. There was a new TM for a non-existent Fire move called Burst Bombnote , which was one of the few TMs the Pinsir-Magmar hybrid could use. Also, Lusamine had three Bulbasaurs, each using Ivysaur's animations and knowing this Burst Bomb move illegally. Finally, the boss music was taken from her second fight, despite her being in her normal form for the battle. Way to test stuff. Maybe I should design a Bug/Fire fan pokemon based on that Pinsir-Magmar thing.

Also I remember a second dream where I was playing something like Mario Kart 8 online with others... as Greninja. I had a clear lead from the second lap to near the end of the final one... until a black-haired Rosalina overtook me and won... by accident, right after she just joined the game on the final lap.

Last night's dream was quite convoluted.

The first clear segment that I remember was a setting resembling Neon Genesis Evangelion. It was set on a small island that was mostly beach. Basically, the whole beach area was filled with weirdly shaped walkways that led to underground structures (the only one I remember was a mall), and the Evangelions were held inside huge rocky cliffs. It was apparently some kind of a vacation spot that just happened to have its own military base, and the Evangelions were used for tourism rather than defending the place. Despite the fact that everybody kept mentioning that there was something in the sea...

Anyway, in this place I was a pretty low ranking member of their equivalent of NERV (I remember it being called BEACHBALL, or something like that.), and my job was apparently to be a personal servant/companion/sanity checker for the Eva pilots. I remember that there were two of them: this really annoying teenage guy who dressed like a wannabe goth, and a girl who could best be described as a British Asuka expy. I remember being glad that the former sent me on a long Snipe Hunt to find a trash can specifically for pears, and that I talked with the latter for a quite long time while we were looking out to the sea. Also, I was a shapeshifter (and for some reason, my default appearance was that of Kohaku from Tsukihime during the entire dream), and I remember impersonating said pilots and a few other people in order to get around easier. And get my purchases in the mall paid by the person I was impersonating. Apparently, shape-shifting also copies the person's wallet and credit card.

The second segment of the dream began with my cousin arriving to the Beachfront (I named the place that after I woke up. A mixture of Evangelion's Geofront and the beach location of the dream) Apparently, my cousin was heavily R Ping her daily life, as a magical princess on a magical quest (exactly what she told me in the dream) and wanted to get me to accompany her on this quest. She was apparently also filthy rich, owned a limousine that had enough space for her family and me, and could basically bribe anyone she came across to be part of her roleplay. So, we first went to the mall, where she said we needed to get a MacGuffin (actually just a big log with a shoddy painting of something that might have been meant to be an orca. Typical tourist trap merch.), and after she bribed the store clerk into playing along by giving her a task to solve before buying it (the guy basically gave her a Rubik's Cube puzzle and she "solved" it in three seconds by "using the Power of Love"), we left the Beachfront on her limousine. Nevermind that we were on an island, the car could apparently be driven on the seafloor. I remember that while down there, I asked her more about her roleplaying thing, and her parents about whether she was actually R Ping or just being delusional. Then we passed through Lalotai (The Realm of Monsters from Disney's Moana. Apparently, the Beachfront's location being right above the Realm of Monsters was an intentional thing, even though the monsters seemingly left the resort alone), and I made the obvious "We can't stop here, this is bat country" quote when we ran into some of those eight-eyed bat monsters.

A bit later, we left Lalotai and emerged right in the middle of the town where our grandparents live. Apparently, their house was a lot further away from the town center than it actually is, and for some reason we had to switch to a speedboat in order to get there. I remember saying that exchanging a car that can be driven on the seafloor for a boat was stupid, and that I'd rather walk the distance. Then I did just that. Outpacing the speedboat. Then I got lost in a forest along the way, and ran into a big group of lumberjacks and their dogs. They all had purple tattoos on their faces, even the dogs, and they were a friendly bunch who got me back on the way. They did keep getting on my way when I was trying to follow the path, though. Eventually, I found a complex system of tunnels that I eventually passed through, and got to my grandparents' house. Still ahead of my cousin's family and their speedboat. My grandparents were quite irritated by my cousin's roleplaying, and only grudgingly played along in order to get her out of the way. Then I remember them shouting at my cousin's parents, and I semi-intentionally woke up, because I really hate it when my family get mad at each other.

My dream last night was a weird version of Harry Potter (Note that I haven't read the books or seen the movies). I think most of the dream was simply about Harry, Ron, and Hermione exploring Hogwarts. But then they reached an industrial-looking building on top of Hogwarts. Inside, there were a bunch of LEGO characters, led by a LEGO octopus and a LEGO robot that resembled Karen. We even saw the octopus' icon and health in the middle of the screen, like a boss fight in a LEGO game! So after the HP characters defeated the octopus and his minions, he and the robot got into a submarine to escape.

Later on, the HP characters were in some sort of spaceship, flying through an interdimensional portal. The octopus and the robot, who had been retconned into a (non-LEGO) fox and a Big Beautiful Woman fox, were chasing them down in another spaceship. But it turns out that the HP characters were heading towards danger at the other side of the portal, and the foxes were only trying to save them by shooting their ship down before they reached the other side. But the HP characters shot them down, and they fell into different portals, leading them to different dimensions.

The boy fox was in a dimension where everything had been industrialized, and the HP characters were all factory workers.

This one was about Pokémon GO.

So I had a pokemon that I couldn't remember. The game now listed its parents as well, but the Pokemon could have up to 3 parents. For this pokemon, the parents were a Ditto, a pink Zapdos why this is wrong  and a third pokemon I couldn't remember. Oh, and the pink Zapdos had perfect IVs and the background for it was the Normal type one instead of the correct Electric one.

The first dream I had involved my folks and I going on a cruise with Banjo and Kazooie. Grunty was also there, but she wasn't much of a threat and even went through a Heel–Face Turn for reasons I can't remember.

The second dream....well, it was too screwed up for me to want to share here. Basically, it boiled down to six words: Bob the Builder Gone Horribly Wrong.

EDIT: The following dream may have resulted from a combination of the following factors: an inclined bed, open windows to bring fresh, cool air into my bedroom, at least two bowlfuls of oxtail soup and the scent of jasmine incense smoke in my bedroom.

While traveling, I was accidentally sent to North Korea, and got (involuntarily?) recruited into an orchestra that uses traditional Korean musical instruments.

I was given not just some clothes such as the Joseon-ot (the female form, most definitely), but also a musical instrument (like the others) and a Korean name for the sake of assimilation. (In my case, I was given either a haegeum or one of its modernized incarnations used in North Korea; most likely a sohaegeum.)

I was having a hard time coming up with a tune to impress my superiors, so I had someone else form a duo with me in order to help me.

I also seemed to have a hard time following the orders of my superiors, since I used the metaphysical abilities of flight and possibly electrokinesis; not just to have fun, but also to help other "trouble-makers" as well, such as Jang-geum (from the Korean animated series Jang-geum's Dream, no less) in a room that had a container-grown peach-tree.

Somehow, as I was flying and electroshocking my way around, the environment got changed, from that of the orchestra's training facility, to that of a flying cruiseship made of old Korean architecture in the vein of Spirited Away. Even at the cruiseship I was flying around, fleeing from my pursuers.

I recently had a dream where I'm in charge of a drydock that overhauls oceangoing ships. We usually get the design drawings.

The dream was about a 1790s ship with a broken keel and for which design drawings weren't available. We took it apart, measured every piece, made design drawings, and then put it back togther using a custom made 212' long stainless steel keel instead of the broken one.

Last night, I had a dream about SparklecareSummary for those who aren't familiar  In the dream, I was Barry, and the doctors in general apparently went through Adaptational Heroism. They got along with Barry (me) a lot better than they do in the comics, and they seemed to be actually concerned about being good doctors.

Anyway, the dream started with me going to a park nearby to read a new A Series of Unfortunate Events book that had just been released. I must have been on lunch break or something. Anyway, I sat down under a tree and started reading. The first page had a picture of a grassy area where a creepy ghost girl was standing. Below the picture, it said "You're being watched!" I looked over and saw a grassy area just like the one in the book... and there was a ghost girl standing there. She looked over and saw me, then got down and started crawling towards me. I quickly said "Nope nope nope..." then got up and started walking back to the hospital. On the way back, I suddenly realized I was carrying a compass-like device that told me where the ghost girl was. When I realized she was still following me, I started running.

When I got back to the hospital, I found Nurse Kills (one of the Token Good Teammates in the comic) and asked her how to deal with ghosts. She told me that if you give a ghost a flower, it turns into an angel and ascends to heaven. She gave me a flower (which was actually just a piece of paper colored and cut out to look like a flower) when the compass thing suddenly started beeping, and I somehow knew that this meant the ghost girl was nearby. I went into the hallway and saw her standing there. Trembling, I gave her the (paper) flower, thinking for sure I was dead... but she accepted it, and suddenly turned into a little cherub, and started flying away. But there was apparently still Black Comedy in this dream's version of Sparklecare, so I was Genre Savvy enough to know that she wouldn't make it. A few seconds later, there was this horrible splat sound.

Feeling miserable, I was about to get back to work, when I heard something bigger hit the ground outside. I ran outside to see, and it was a (non-anthropomorphic) golden retriever!

Everything after that was kind of a blur. There was a new doctor who doesn't appear in the comic: an old man whose body was literally in pieces, and had to be carried around in a bag. So I took this doctor to see the golden retriever. Later on, we were being chased by some evil guy who wanted to kidnap the golden retriever for... some reason. The old doctor kept shouting something to me that I didn't understand, until later when I realized that he was shouting "puppies" and the dog was pregnant.

And then... the next thing I remember was every character in a church.

...And that's all I remember. tongue

I just woke up from another part of the last dream I posted.

In it I'm going over the first draft of the 212' long stainless steel keel with the very young and inexperienced engineer who I asked to design it and explaining why his design isn't accptable.

He didn't mess up and his first attempt would be perfect for a modern ship of that size made with steel. Unfortunately for him we're overhauling a 220+ year old ship and what we can't fix must match the original as closely as possible.

The keel was a huge problem because it was pretty much shattered. That's the backbone of a ship and it must be able to twist and bend without breaking. The one he designed was 40 tons too light and far stiffer than the broken one.

If I'd of ok'd his first draft the hull of that ship would rip itself apart the first time it encountered a storm, assuming it didn't capsize first due missing 40 tons of keel weight.

So my dream last night took place in some sort of giant space station. On board this facility there were a number of cute anime girls in power suits. The suits seemed to have two distinct 'layers', a skintight cyber-uniform thing and then outside that a much bulkier mechanized exoskeleton that covered each character's lower legs, back, and behind their arms. The lower parts of the exoskeleton seemed to have two different configurations, a normal 'kneeling' position with the legs slightly spread (they were somehow able to move around on the floor in this state, I assume the 'shin' parts of the suits had some sort of caterpillar treads on them) and an extended 'prone' position specifically for flying, but were not otherwise flexible, although the wearers could detach most of their bodies (everything but their lower legs) from the exoskeleton in order to move around a little and use their arms independently. However, at some point fairly early on it was revealed that these characters actually relied on the suits for survival and would die if separated entirely from them (even the partial-detaching was considered somewhat dangerous if done for extended periods of time). It seemed that at least some of the wearers had been terminally ill and were originally chosen to wear the suits because that was the only way to keep them from dying. The suits' biomedical systems supposedly also had the effect of keeping their wearers alive and youthful indefinitely, and an older person put into a suit would be rapidly rejuvenated and take on a youthful appearance. Most of the wearers were female, but there was at least one guy as well, who had spiky black hair like a shounen anime protagonist and a sort of light brown 'desert camo' suit.

The primary duty of these characters seemed to be to protect the space station and a nearby planet from attacks by swarms of small robot drones that were trying to steal the planet's water. Although I never saw who built the drones, it seemed to be implied that they were not alien in origin, but were coming from some rival faction of humans elsewhere in space. However, the main incident during the dream wasn't about the drone attacks. Rather, a girl wearing a shiny white power suit got her suit's computer hacked (presumably by the same faction that sent the drones) so that she couldn't control its movements anymore. The understanding seemed to be that she could try to resist the hacker's commands (i.e. the suit wasn't completely under the hacker's influence and would partly respond to her efforts to control it), but that this would somehow also interfere with the biomedical system and endanger her life, so we were all telling her not to resist except when she absolutely had to. Her suit was going on a rampage breaking stuff in the space station, and everyone else was trying to figure out how to reverse-hack her suit's computer and restore it to its normal state, and how to best isolate her in the meantime in order to minimize the damage and the risk to other people.

As a shameless mecha-musume fan this was all totally my jam. 10/10 dream, would try to save a cute girl from her own malfunctioning power suit again.

A week or so ago, while waiting for my turn to be called for a speaking test, I slept in class, but had a short (but pretty weird) dream.

It involved the girls in my class dancing in weird costumes: one wore a waffle costumenote , another a shark costume, the class leader wore a liver/kidney costume, and the last but most normal of all: one of my closest friends wore a normal/casual outfit, but she was wearing swimming flippers for shoes. Wut.

Basically, it was like this.
