Not very clear: Family Unfriendly Death get usage counts

Darkness and Disgrace
Okay, you kind of have to squint to see the body, and the artstyle looks more like a typical vintage illustration than an actual children's story. The fact that it needs the caption to explain what's going on doesn't help, either.
Save a webcomic, read Commander Kitty! "You got your head all tangled up, but if I could only make you care..."

I see the Awesomeness.
Agreed.
Something from the Western Animation example section? (They tend to look most obviously targeted at families.)

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel.
Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.
Well, we could start here

Also, going by the description in the example, Rasputin's death from Anastasia might be good.

I'm also noticing a lot of examples on that list really aren't that bad. Can a Disney Villain Death really be this trope?

Belief or disbelief rests with you.

I think there are a few that could qualify, especially whassisface from Tarzan and Mother Gothel's death from Tangled; seeing that huge poof of ash come out of her cloak when she hit the ground was one of the most graphic death scenes from a Disney work that I can remember.

^I had thought of that, too, but it'd be better if the camera were on the other side. As it is, you can't really see the sword. I'd also say it has the problem of being a spoiler, but that seems a bit inevitable.

^^I suppose, but Charles Muntz's death in Up is listed, which is pretty much your standard "guy falls off high place; presumed dead".
Belief or disbelief rests with you.
"A gruesome death in entertainment aimed at children."

Being sucked into a jet engine turbine is pretty gruesome :P Syndrome's biggest fan!

Oh, yeah, I probably should have mentioned that I like the Syndrome pic. Also spoilery, but, well, death trope.
Belief or disbelief rests with you.

I see the Awesomeness.
I like Syndrome 3 but would prefer a slightly better shot. Preferably where you can see his head.
In addition to the half-dozen times I have actually seen the movie, I watched that sequence in slow motion another dozen or so times looking for good frames. IMO those are the best: first shows his horrified expression, second is similar but a little more clear that he is headed towards a spinning blade, third more clearly shows someone is about to get dragged by their cape into a jet turbine. No frames have both a face-reaction and a clear turbine. "Both" would have to be a sequence, and I think the single images are all stronger by themselves.

IMO first is most horrible overall, third is most gruesome. In context, of course, it is perfect; just mean without context. I like the third best.

Perhaps 1, 3, and a shot of the turbine shooting a fireball out or however that wound up as.
That is followed by a Gory Discretion Shot: Mr. Incredible throws a car into the jet, which knocks Syndrome toward the turbine, followed by a cut to (a wide shot of) the jet exploding because it's been hit with a car. Gore before explosion is implied only, and the two are not directly related, except for having a cause in common.

The Laughing Ed
I think the Syndrome pic is perfect. Add in the caption about how Capes will kill you and you're all set.

NO CAPES!
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel.
Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.
What about Facilier stepping on Ray? There is a good frame that shows his shoe above him, but I can't cut it now.

That's squashing a bug. Children do that all the time.
It is a cartoon bug with anthropomorphized features tho :P Would like to see it.

[up] I don't think the target demographic of Halo is families.

Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.

Fair point.

If Warrior Cats had more images of its deaths, I'd recommend something from that series.

And yes, this is my first Image Pickin' participation.
The beginning is always the same
I think it could be brighter and some of the blue bled out, though. '

ETA: Image cut out until I do that. Hold on.
