Ok. Just finished... By far, THE BEST episode of the season. It felt JUST right wit characters interacting and getting to talk with them. Everything felt like it flowed properly and it had a good length.
- So, Sarita died and Kenny was fucking pissed. And, for awhile, I wasn't sure what the possibilities are with him. But, as soon as he got over it, he never mentioned it again.
- I pulled Sarah from the house and I felt terrible that I slapped her. I was disappointed I couldn't apologize for it.
- Nick's death was disappointing and off screen. They just didn't know what to do with him after he could have died and that's something Telltale needs to work on since Sarah seemed to get the same issue.
- I went with Jane first and Mike and Bonnie second.
- I didn't steal from Arvo. Mostly because I wouldn't want the reverse happening of someone finding us and not believing we had a pregnant mother around the corner.
- I went through the gift shop window. I was actually expecting to die. I'm still surprised that we haven't had any choices that explicitly kill us. I didn't realize it WAS a choice until the endgame summary said so.
- Found the confederate coat. Not sure if there was a better option around because the second it was mentioned, I remembered Jane mentioning that I should find a thicker coat for myself.
- Is it even possible to catch the Raccoon? I tried and failed, but since no one brought it up later, I figured it might have been a Fission Mailed or something.
- Kenny got pissed at Luke for having sex with Jane (which... they keep avoiding saying it which is a bit bothersome) and not watching the Zombies. First, I really don't care that they had sex. At all. Or, I should say, I don't care that they did so and it doesn't bother me. Second, I really wish I could point out that the zombies came from the direction OPPOSITE the Deck and, thus, Luke wouldn't have seen them anyway.
- What happens if you stay inside and help Rebecca and Kenny rather than shoot zombies? Or do you get shoved outside anyway?
- I knew Becca was going to die. I just didn't know if the baby would die with her or not. And... I really don't like the shine Kenny is taking to the baby considering her tendency towards Replacement Goldfish.
- And... Sarah dies... I'm not sure if there's any way to save her since all the conversations leading up to it didn't seem to have a right or wrong answer. I'm surprised that they did show the graphic death of a child. Not surprised in a BAD way, just surprised that they had the balls to do so.
- And... Jane leaves. You know, I started drawing the parallels between her and Molly (Play large rolls in the 4th episode of the season, excellent at survival and zombie killing, had past drama with their dead sisters, complete loners, leave the group come episode's end) but I didn't think they'd go that far. I don't know if she can stay if you choose certain things (she mentioned Sarah to me, but Sarah could be long dead before she leaves) but I would like to see her again. Also, I took the Nail File.
- I said to leave in a few days against my better judgment since I felt that's what Clem would say. Not sure if there's a significant change.
- I'm confused why Arvo is saying we stole when we didn't. The fact that you can't defend at all and point out you didn't is... confusing to me. Is it a game glitch? Intentional? Why can't you deny doing so? I had the option to say 'Jane did, not me' but that's not true either...
- Also, what was up with him leaving the meds in the trash? It caught me when Clem said 'Not even trash in here' but why put them there anyway? Just a dead drop for Bandits?
- I shot Rebecca. I didn't want her to kill the baby and I'm worried about Becca being Sarita 2.0. However, if what phoenixdaughter said is true and Kenny shoots if you don't, then I'm less worried about getting chewed out over it.
So, any guesses as to who's dead now? I can see Bonnie dying, and maybe Kenny. I REALLY don't want to see Mike dead since I've liked him so far, he's good looking, and I want to know more about him (I noticed this episode that he has half his ear missing). But... Black Guy dies first is REALLY common...

I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.I have seen both sides of the shooting now. My speculation is that Luke dies if you shoot Rebecca and Kenny dies if you don't. (And the other will die in the fifth episode anyways. -sighs-)
Either way...many are already disliking Luke for having sex on guard duty but...I'm kinda more wary about Kenny and his Replacement Goldfish tendencies. Plus the whole always moving thing. I remember season 1 well Ken, I think it's time we parted ways.
Persona 3 Portable LiveblogI really didn't care that he did? Is it that big of a deal? I mean, ok, fine, maybe not exactly the right time to do so but he's hardly at fault for the zombies arriving since they're in the opposite direction.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.Eh, I don't mind it either. Mostly I smell a scheme from Telltale to make both Luke and Kenny seem unappealing to see if you actually decide to go out on your own. Kinda similar to the scheme of making Ben extremely useless to see if people would actually stick with him and pull him up.

Persona 3 Portable LiveblogAnd the same scheme with Sarah?
What happens if you ask to go with Jane? I figured she'd say no, but I didn't select it.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.Well that was a fun little episode Glad Sarah dies no matter what. I've no tolerance for The Load in this franchise.
That's a bit cruel...
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing. No, he's right. Somehow, she managed to be worse than friggin' BEN. I think Telltale realized that forcing the player to coddle her would be incredibly annoying. I left her ass at the first opportunity. Just like with Ben, it's hard enough keeping competent people alive, I don't have the time for dead weight.
At least it was explicitly clear that she was eaten alive, instead of her just vanishing.

I never said it wasn't logical. Its just Cold Calculus and sort of cruel. Logical, but cruel.
Also, Ben didn't suddenly disappear either. He was eaten by zombies, just not on screen.
I'm trying to figure out what plot points need covering for the last episode.
- Still need to find Christa or at least know what the end of her story was.
- What will happen with the baby and I REALLY don't want to see Clem end up with it at the end?
- What will happen with Kenny? I was SERIOUSLY expecting him to die this episode.
I suppose the 400 Days characters would be nice to see since they provided SHIT to their plots from that DLC... : /
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.Choices:
- I saved Sarah at the trailer park. I was trying to stick with Jane as much as possible this episode, since she had some really good practical advice, but I learned compassion from Lee.
- I robbed Arvo. There were too many people in our group who needed that medication. And frankly, dude was shifty. He may have been telling the truth, but he also seemed perfectly fine with shooting me if it wasn't for Jane.
- I crawled into the ticket booth. We needed the water, and Clem's job description is basically "crawl through small things". I knew there would be walkers in there, but it was important.
- I held the baby. Mostly by accident, although I kinda wanted to anyway.
- I called for help instead of shooting Rebecca. I was kind of hoping that the first response of someone wouldn't be to shoot her for me, since I knew gunfire would break the standoff, but it didn't work. I probably should have learned from both Lee and Jane, and just put her down.
Lance, if I remember correctly when you choose to let Ben go back in Season One he dies instantly from a fatal fall. Even if you did keep him alive up until Episode 5 he dies instantly by getting shot to the head by Kenny as mercy. It was for the better considering being eaten alive while you can't even move is a pretty nightmarish way to die in the first place and all ways he could of died (at least the ones I remember) were not painful at all (I really doubt his body could of got up from falling as far as he did or being shot in the head)
I am honestly pissed that they just offed Sarah and Nick without even trying to develop those 2 beyond there flaws especially considering both are compared to Ben by Clementine herself (I think Sarah might be a stretch but it was pretty obvious who Clementine was talking about when she had a talk with Nick). Honestly I don't really see the purpose of why they killed both in the first place other than shock value (a child Clementine's age getting brutally torn apart) and just another batch of senseless deaths with no real purpose. I can see why they did this in Episode 2 with that teacher and his student, and I can see a potential reason why they killed Sarah's dad (He coddled her, Clementine could of helped her get out of that and actually becoming a asset to the group) but still I can't make sense of this.
To be blunt the entire episode in itself irked me.....

It's really a shame... I'm trying not to be cynical here, but it feels sort as if the writers decided "Well, Clem's going to have to deal with the whole infant thing next episode, so let's just off Sarah now for shock value."
Well...they managed to piss me off and I love this series. The direction the storytelling is going not really doing it for me anymore though. I am pretty sure a plot like that won't end well either....

Well...that was unpleasant.
I get the feeling that in Episode 5 everyone is going to be dead except Arvo, who you'll have the option to murder.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.I mostly expect it's going to be Clem and the baby all alone.
Persona 3 Portable LiveblogJesus fucking Christ.
So I'm assuming there's absolutely no way to save Sarah? If so, that sucks. I really wanted to tell Jane to try and pull her up, but I figured she was dead anyway.
Luke and Jane fucking annoyed the hell out of me. I mean, yeah, the zombies didn't come from anywhere he would have seen, but he was still on fucking guard duty. And Jane, survivalist that she is, should have known better.
So everyone's probably dead. Six people opening fire on us? As much as I hope everyone gets out of it, probably not gonna happen. :(
By the by, is anyoe able to translate what the Russians were saying? Was it coherent?

"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."You can save Sarah at first, but she dies later anyway.
For the record, I said Ben would have been eaten, I never said he was alive while it happened.
I've heard this it IS coherent and its something along the lines of 'Put your weapons down or I'll shoot you in the fucking cock' or something.
I don't particularly LIKE how Sarah is killed regardless (especially since I honestly believe that everyone can be an asset to the group and can learn to be; a corpse serves no one) but I think they got the message they wanted to get across with her, even though I would have preferred to defy Jane's logic and Sarah's 2nd Death doesn't particularly go hand in hand with Jane's story.
I REALLY don't want Clem to end up with the baby at the end. I REALLY don't want to see that. Though I'm kind of expecting a Season 3 at this point, I don't want that to mean I'll be taking care of a baby the entire season. No thanks.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.x2 I was asking if you can save her the second time. But I guess not.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Can't save Sarah either times, and if you coax Jane into trying, she's smacked with a hunk of wood, and then gets back up there just in time to see Sarah get devoured alive.
The odd thing I didn't like about this was that its NEVER mentioned again. I mean... I would have liked some mention of maybe doing something about her corpse or putting her zombie out of its misery.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing. She's crushed under the deck, isn't she?
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."She falls and parts of the deck land on top of her and she's pinned down. Jane can jump down and try to pull her out and Clem and reassure her that Jane is trying to help. A broken plank will fall and bump Jane's head (killing time to help Sarah) and Jane will climb back up when its too late. Then everyone watches as the zombies swarm and bite Sarah, complete with her screaming and flailing under them.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.
Damn. That ending hit me like a ton of bricks.
