So I just did episode 1 and 2 in a single playthrough today.
I love this game. So much.
The thing is, I'm nervous about Lilly. To sort of just be different from my roomates campaign where he did everything possible to stick by Kenny in any possible way, I decided to stick by Lilly a lot more often(though I'm not a dick to Kenny either)
The thing is, she's in the comics. I'll be rather pissed off if I put all this effort into making decisions to win over Lilly and she disappears, even if she deserves a nobel peace prize for killing that manipulative sith lord with tits Lori Grimes
I mean Glenn was in this and left for Atlanta, so I don't know if they'll tweak her backstory and have her stick around or not. If she's going to just up and leave at some point, I would really rather throw my lot in with Kenny. But at least I'll always have Carley for backup, because she's pretty much Lee's lethal pitbull at this point for me.
Glad that Larry
is gone though. Maybe without his shitty influence kicking around Lilly will learn to cool the fuck down in episode 3 a little bit if I push her in the right direction. Though the previews don't do much to assure me of that.
My aim is to do what I can to please people in a certain order as equally as possible, while maneuvering Lee into becoming recognized de facto as the leader of the group. Once that's been acknowledged I'll run shit my way.
It's funny how psychology works in a game like this though. My roomate was best friends with Kenny and saved Doug because he figured Lee/Kenny can fight, and Doug has his tech savviness.(Given, my roomate is a gay dude in the IT industry) Where as I favor Lilly and I saved Carley.(Carley is a pretty clear choice for normal reasons I think, she's got a gun and really kicks ass with it) but I'd be lying if I said my reasoning behind supporting Lilly isn't at least partly clouded by the fact that she's in the Air Force like I am, and based on the fact that I like assertive and tough women.
