The Walking Dead: The Game:

You can choose to kill whatchmacall it right?

You're going to have to provide a lot more context than that if you want an answer.

As for how the ending will be, I imagine with the way they're setting up Clementine (I.e everyone loves her, at least everyone that's sane) they'll probably give you a choice of saving her, or something else important (the rest of the group, Lee, a large cache of supplies, but it would have to be big, because, as I said, everyone loves Clementine.)

That, or perhaps they'll make some sort of sad point of Clementine dying, and becoming a Walker and Lee struggling to kill her or something.

I really hope they don't do that. I'll be depressed for days.

Everyone will be, and that's why I think that's the most likely outcome. The Walking Dead has been about messing with our minds. It connects us to characters, gives them morals, goals, personality. Then they shoot us in the knee, and kill them. That, or put Lee in a situation that really calls to our moral centers. Do you save character A, or B? Do you kill the farmer brothers who tried to cannibalize you? Or do you leave them alive to suffer for their sins? I LOVE IT!

Good news is that Clementine will most likely survive at least to episode 5, unless that image is a flashback.

I think "whatchamacallit" is Larry.

I expect Lee and Clementine to survive the "season." They've just announced they'll be doing more games and they'll at least want the option of keeping the same main characters.

I'm kind of wondering if we'll see a pre-comics Michonne wander through. I don't remember what's revealed of her backstory well enough to figure out if that's plausible.

Having a second season may have saved Lee's life.

I'm not that happy about them announcing a second season when they haven't finished the first. Granted, the first episode alone sold more then Tell Tale's other games, but that's jumping the gun a little, isn't it?

The episodes for season 1 already take 2 months to release. It wouldn't be much difference if season 2 took the same time.

Speaking of episode 3 is supposed to be released in the middle of August.

Double post!

Is it just me or is the last two achievements for episode 2 borked?

They worked fine for me.

What's your issue, exactly?
114 Spirit, Sun, 15th Jul '12 3:26:03 PM from America Relationship Status: Gay for Big Boss
Their icons are unlocked but the achievement counter says I only unlocked 14/16 achievements and earned 165/200 Gamerscore.

Huh weird.

I would check if I actually do have the same issue, but my controller's being a god damn asshole.

Huh, my question was unanswered and yeah that's who I meant. I swear, if Clementine dies it'll be such a dick move.

So I just did episode 1 and 2 in a single playthrough today.

I love this game. So much.

The thing is, I'm nervous about Lilly. To sort of just be different from my roomates campaign where he did everything possible to stick by Kenny in any possible way, I decided to stick by Lilly a lot more often(though I'm not a dick to Kenny either)

The thing is, she's in the comics. I'll be rather pissed off if I put all this effort into making decisions to win over Lilly and she disappears, even if she deserves a nobel peace prize for killing that manipulative sith lord with tits Lori Grimes.

I mean Glenn was in this and left for Atlanta, so I don't know if they'll tweak her backstory and have her stick around or not. If she's going to just up and leave at some point, I would really rather throw my lot in with Kenny. But at least I'll always have Carley for backup, because she's pretty much Lee's lethal pitbull at this point for me.

Glad that Larry is gone though. Maybe without his shitty influence kicking around Lilly will learn to cool the fuck down in episode 3 a little bit if I push her in the right direction. Though the previews don't do much to assure me of that.

My aim is to do what I can to please people in a certain order as equally as possible, while maneuvering Lee into becoming recognized de facto as the leader of the group. Once that's been acknowledged I'll run shit my way.

It's funny how psychology works in a game like this though. My roomate was best friends with Kenny and saved Doug because he figured Lee/Kenny can fight, and Doug has his tech savviness.(Given, my roomate is a gay dude in the IT industry) Where as I favor Lilly and I saved Carley.(Carley is a pretty clear choice for normal reasons I think, she's got a gun and really kicks ass with it) but I'd be lying if I said my reasoning behind supporting Lilly isn't at least partly clouded by the fact that she's in the Air Force like I am, and based on the fact that I like assertive and tough women.

You like assertive, tough women? Well whatever you're into.

But seriously. I wish that you didn't have to pick between Carley and Doug. They're both pretty nice people, ya know?

Yeah, they were. A pity.

I just thought it was funny that my gay friend ended up saving doug and being an asshole to lilly at every turn, but I kind of did the opposite.

Personally, I didn't even consider the gun when I saved Carley (It attracts way too much attention, not much use.) I was just returning the favour, since she saved me earlier.

And I want to be friends with Kenny, but he keeps doing stuff I can't agree with (Well, except killing Larry.)

Honestly, having a specific goal in mind and a bit of hindsight kind of fucks me.

I see the way Lee talks with the decisions I make when I have a specific outcome I'm aiming for, and he doesn't sound like me at all, where as when I choose impulsively, he acts more like me.

Kind of sucks. Means if I was just being me I'd fuck things up too much to get what I wanted. :P

Lily chilling out in the next episode is highly unlikely considering her father's killer is in the same group. I'm getting a feeling there'll be some big decision and we'll have to choose between them at some point.

I wonder if getting on Glenn or Hershel's good side will have an effect at some point. I mean they ain't around anymore so the chance of it is unlikely.

Yeah I doubt it.

I'm cool with siding with Lilly if she isn't going to leave for Woodbury, but I'd really be fucking the group if I had to choose her over Kenny and he left, and then Lilly suddenly went off to fulfill her comic book storyline.

Mid-August is what I saw on a few sites, which is pretty awesome.
