The Walking Dead: The Game:

I'm also curious to see what action we can expect, because every episode has had something dramatic happen. In the first there was the collapse of the first base, in the second there was the farm battle, and if in the third all they do is move, I'm not sure what'll happen.

Train bandits, obviously.

Also, I liked how there were relatively few zombies in the second episode. Hope they mix it up like that more.

The train seemed abandoned, though...

That's the thing about the Walking Dead; the zombies aren't the focus, the survivors and their interactions are. It's no lie to say that in the WD verse humans are the real threat to survival.

Oh and I do recommend the show. This is the first I've heard it having mixed opinions.

Well, the very first page of this thread has the post "Hopefully it's better than the show, " so...

@Dimentio: I meant people trying to rob the train.

That's how it normally is with Zombie games. Zombies can be dangerous, but the humans are the primary concern. Look at Dead Rising, for a very extreme example. The Zombies normally don't have sentience, and only have numbers. Humans can think outside the box, they aren't mindless, and are VERY dangerous.

That's how it is with zombies in general.

Even Night of the Living Dead, as best exemplified by the ending.

True. But I think there were a couple of episodes where there were no walkers at all. WD seems to embrace that aspect more than most other zombie apocalypse works.

Larry is not racist. He's a panicky know-it-all, but he is not racist. He shows a ton of concern for Clementine, for one, warning Lee if he fucks up with her, he's going to let him have it.

Kenny is the bigot, if anything.

By the way, you know that Kenny will start justifying everything he does by claiming his family comes first.

Kenny is not a racist, nor is he a very bad guy. And the only very clear misstep he has done so far is killing Larry, who may, or may NOT have been dead. He was worried about his, and the group's safety. He did what would have had to been done if he actually was dead.

Kenny isn't a bigot. He's just from Florida, crazy shit just comes out of his mouth.

I'm from the South too, and I swear we're not all racists! sad

Also: I'm very happy about there being even more to this game series. Woo!

It doesn't really say whether there'll be a season 2 or not, just that Telltale will make more games.

More games = season 2. They're not going to make an Episode 6-10. And if they did, that's a season 2. LOL

So I just discovered a pretty bad bug.

During the first scene in the drug store, when Larry thinks Duck is bitten, I very explicitly chose the option that said "side with Kenny, " and the "Next Time On" montage featured Lily yelling about how I went out of my way to side against Larry.

But the statistics page thinks I sided with, Larry. And Kenny's attitude in episode 2 reflects this.

What the hell? Is this because I said "Let's reason with him" before the choice of who to side with? Or what?

I don't think the next episode previews change much depending on your choices. I mean some things that was supposed to happen to me in 2 didn't.

Probably not, but that doesn't change the fact that this is a pretty serious bug, and I don't have a solution.
Gunpla is amazing!

I did too until the end of episode 2.

She's not bad in 2 where you can tell she's just a bitch due to frustration. It helps that she's the voice of reason this episode instead of Kenny.

I do really like how they set Kenny up as really likable, and then turn around to show he also has an unreasonable side.

Same with Lily and being a reasonable bitch.

They're f*ck*ng with us. Also, I'm predicting a Bad End, where the only way to get a good ending is going to get Lily on your side or else she kills you. I say this because of that event from the comics.
