Skilled All Along sounds like it could be Magic Feather. "The skill was inside you all along!"

It is a line of dialogue, but it's not a Stock Phrase, and it can't be used when this trope doesn't apply.

Here. I suppose the wording might not mean Suddenly I Always Knew That is vetoed, but you'd have to ask Maddie to be sure.

Yes, Madrugada did the veto so he should clarify that. I only said "personal pronouns" because most titles accused of being dialogue-like use them.

I've now moved all the text to Suddenly Always Knew That and put it on the only relevevant index that I Know Kung Fu was on. I haven't had a chance to fix the wicks or examples yet, and to be honest I'm still working on Or Is It so I don't expect I'll have time to do much.

BTW, from the archived discussion: Chad M: "he name of this trope comes from a famous SNL skit parodying Keanu Reeves, who gets Kung Fu (and other combat skills) programmed into his head in The Matrix."

So it wasn't even named after the line in the movie, it was named after a parady of the movie, and the parady doesn't really seem like an example to me. WTF. I'm so glad we have finally renamed this.

Wicks moved and cleand up. The number was reduced from over 400 to 89. I think making I Know Kung Fu a redirect to I Know Karate would be better than keeping it as redirect to Suddenly Always Knew That.

Either that or just send it to the Redlink Club.

If you do that, then make sure you include a line about suddenly always knowing karate is suddenly always knew that.

Thank you for your work on this. I think the wicks are all about fixed now. As for making I Know Kung Fu a redirect for I Know Karate, I agree since I Know Karate's description actually mentions substituting Kung Fu in for Karate.
