It probably should be on its own forum, but I'm not sure that most of them really have big enough fanbases apart from those that have anime adaptations. FSN, Clannad, Ef etc. all fit just as well here.
^ +1
The idea of a separate forum's been brought up before, and that was the conclusion that was reached.
My FF.net accountI do't see how having too few posts is a problem, the two lowest profile forums, Visual Arts, and Live Performance, have only one page of threads each, and most of these threads have one page of comments. A VN forum could do a lot better than these.
Or if you are saying that it would be feasible but more uncomfortable to browse, I disagree. As it is now, we have to write the whole page in spoiler tags, and when the page is bumped, we can't even see if someone commented on a VN we want to talk about, or not, until reading the new posts.
Maybe a little, 20 post long Kira Kira thread, right between a little 22 post long School Days thread and a 15 post long Ever 17 thread would look a bit depressing, with one new comment per month in each but it would be more useful for the purpose of discussion.
I wouldn't mind having a VN forum. Also, anyone have a good VN for once I finish Kira Kira (God, I should finish Umineko but I'm not in the mood for anything depressing).
Kira Kira Curtain Call.
Or maybe My Girlfriend Is The President will be fully translated by the time you're done. The demo at least is great.

I write pretty good fanfiction, sometimes. What do you guys think of Youjuu Senki A.D. 2048 (dubbed "Pretty Soldier Wars A.D. 2048" *)?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.I didn't like it and I didn't finish it.
Started Curtain Call while taking a break from the original. I like the protagonist already.
The protagonist is all right, I thought. Curtain Call was good overall, but it didn't have the same feel as the original Kira Kira. A direct sequel or something would've been better, but then again, this is a fandisc...
I write pretty good fanfiction, sometimes.Kirakira: I finished Kirari's normal route.
Eat Shit. That's all.
Please tell me that she lives in the true ending. Seriously, answer with a Yes or No. I'm depressed. Probably I won't be able to sleep tonight. That shit is better than CLANNAD.
Someone asked if the title means anything other than her nickname, and the random word "sparkling": Yes, it's also the Japanese translation of Twinkle Twinkle. WAFF.
Well, it was stated that she did remember Renji through the Power of Love, by thinking of him so frequently that her brain didn't have time to reboot. If she could repeat that feat that would be a serious improvement in her condition, being able to have character development, and meeting new people, as long as she wants to remember them strong enough.

Kirari's ending was sad as hell, but it was mitigated by the fact that that I never really liked her. Honestly, she's a Mary Sue. No questions.
Oh, and yes, she lives in the True End.
Also, burnt Kirari is ridiculously freaky.
Hopefully you get to Chie's route soon, 'cause it's the best. She's definitely one of my favourite characters ever.

I write pretty good fanfiction, sometimes.Just got to the plot twist in Kirari's route.
HOLY SHIT
And finished the route. Oh man, that was the only VN I played that got me seriously emotional. Other than Clannad.
Wait, there's a true end? SHITSHITSHIT (Ignores the fact that it's in the middle of the night and goes to find it.)

This is in the wrong sub-forum. I've PM'd Maddy about it.
"Doctor Who means never having to say you're kidding." - BocajI PM'd Fast Eddie. (He mixed it up).
We'll see who will be faster.

Through perfectly legal means, I've read Saya No Uta. While I do think that the whole Nightmare Fuel of this title is hugely overestimated (though reading it during daytime might have diminished that effect), I have never seen such a beautiful slip into madness before. Not to mention a great deconsturction of the Magical Girlfriend. Seriously, the whole thing read like a Call Of Chtulu campaign Gone Horribly Wrong.
Now if only those bloody pron scens stayed the f*ck out of my awesome horror stories. Especially Saya's rape at the hand of the friendly neighbour felt just stupid.
Hurray, new subforum!
So, should we also move the Nasuverse thread over here then?
That would be a logical move, given that most of the Nasuverse franchises originated as visual novels.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. That might confuse the large amount of people who have seen/read only the adaptations, though. Who would want to trudge into this den of rampant, incomprehensible geekery just to ask a question about the anime or something?
Though on the other hand most of the posts, at least recently, have been about the visual novel. Mostly Fate/Stay Night.
I write pretty good fanfiction, sometimes.Barely anyone who wants to talk about FSN in the tvtropes community would be sticking with just the anime, though. I'm pretty sure nobody in the Literature section talks about Index, Haruhi or Kara no Kyoukai, for example. I could be wrong there, but it seems unlikely.
Just about done with Yume Miru Kusuri. What should I try next? Clannad? Family Project? Something else?
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...Clannad over Family Project. Family Project has a kinda bad translation.
Also, Sharin No Kuni. It's awesome.
Clannad, naturally. The After Story part of the game has a LOT of stuff that weren't mentioned at all in the anime, like the Sanae and Akio routes.

My FF.net accountAND KAPPEI!
Do you think we should request a whole visual novels forum?
This thread starts to get too big, with spoiler sensitive material from multiple works, on the same page.
I would feel uncomfortable with opening many threads for individual VN-s in either the Anime, the Video Games, or in the Literature sections, while they are in fact neither.
