Is there a way to do this with numbers? I tried to make Fourteen Oh Eight into 1408, but that just takes me back to the main page. Also, I don't see the punctuated title thing in the tools menu anymore. Did it get taken away as part of the test?

Things that aren't simple punctuation/accent insertion or space removal require administrative intervention.

The conversion script test is running as we speak. It takes a few hours to run, then about a day for the results-check test to run and be reviewed.

So if all goes well, this will be implemented soon?

I just launched Duck! and there were two problems:

1) The launcher asked me for an unpunctuated title as if it was trying use the ptitle replacement system. However, the ptitle replacement isn't there yet, and it just created the unpunctuated page and nothing else, when I really wanted to create it with punctuation. I ended up leaving it unpunctuated and doing a redirect, but it really should be at Duck!

2) The launcher asked for the unpunctuated title but didn't give me a way to input a punctuated title. I ended up editing the YKTTW to change the title (which caused my name to overwrite the original poster's). And it didn't help anyway, since the launcher isn't using the punctuated title for anything.

You can flip that - the redirect should be from Duck to Duck!, not the other way around.

I just thought of something - the punctuator removed repeated punctuation marks, right? Well, there's a problem - the anime Bastard. The correct title is "Bastard!!", with two exclamation marks. Will the punctuator be able to accomodate this?

Couldn't you cludge it by just putting spaces between the !!s, Vampire Buddha?

FE: That seems a bit problematic. Is it not possible for you to make Bastards!! a manual exception, like everything else? The more titles keep using punctuation, the more likely repeated punctuation is going to be legit.

Heck, why couldn't you use HTML entities?

Also, could this system help you get the automatic properly capitalized titles, e.g. TheLordOfTheRings The Lord of the Rings instead of The Lord Of The Rings? You talked about being able to do this a while back, with a list of words not to be capitalized in the middle of a title.

This is one of the few things I still notice people who just read the wiki complain about.

Baccano should be fixed to display as Baccano!, but with the "punctuate title" button gone, I don't know how to fix it.

The replacement hasn't passed, yet. Maybe by Sunday.
