As someone who watched Max and crew go through like, half of the 10 hours Boss Rage stream they did on MK 9's Mission 300, seeing the Zaibatsu do it just shy of fifteen minutes was hilarious.

I really appreciate the NeatherRealm approach to the story/campaign mode in their fighting games. You play as one character for a bit, then move on to another, and then another, all while this epic storyline plays out. It was in Mortal Kombat Vs Dc Universe, it was in the 2011 Mortal Kombat, it was in Injustice and it's in this. It should be the new standard for all fighting games' story mode.

Yeah, it helps you get used to the characters before you go online to fight with them.

I'm actually surprised that Kotal Khan not only signed a treaty with Earth, but actually keeps his word. Shao Khan would never do that.

It's almost as if Kotal Kahn isn't evil.

If I knew that they would be playing this so soon, I wouldn't have watched the whole Story already.

I liked it, but it seemed kinda short.

I am loving this story mode and I am loving that they are loving it. In the past Kombat has had a hard time introducing new characters that didn't suck, but most of the new characters in this game are great.

Erron Black might just be my favorite character in the entire MK series. He's just so cool! And he has a beard, which I always like.

Does this Fisticuffs mean they're done doing MKX's story mode?

No, they're not done yet, at least with putting out the videos. Heck, they probably did the story mode all in one sitting and are just putting it out in parts to fill the schedule.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a couple more sessions of Fisticuffs for MKX. Considering how deep the gameplay is and how much Zaibatsu love Predator they probably want to cover as much as possible.

Yeah, Pat did say that they were going to come back to it once Jason and the Predator came out.

I completely forgot their was a Seaworld/Shamu game. And I am now poorer for being reminded of it.

Are we getting a "What's Coming Out In May?" No? Does that mean that "What's Coming Out In April?" was actually an April Fool's joke after all?

In other news the Bond-A-Thon is now officially done. That coupled with the conclusion of Mortal Kombat X and Revelaitons 2 means that the only ongoing palythrough right now is Bloodborne. Any guesses what they're going to do next?

Ironically, the comparison only becomes more apt as the video goes on.

Lionfish are badasses, though. Their fins are filled with venomous spines that are apparently so effective that their only real predators are sharks and cannibalism.

The former being too stupid to care about poison, the latter not affected by it.

Looks like a full LP of Sonic Adventure 1.

Hah, see? this is the game where they started using the name Eggman.

Anyway, it's a fun game. I look forward to seeing them play though it, dance as Tails, and shoot up stuff as Gamma. Man, Omega just wasn't the same.

Hey they mentioned Archie comics run on Sonic. I remember I got one of those for my birthday one year, and I followed the series religiously from issue 38 to issue 87, which was just after they finished the story arc that tied-in with Sonic Adventure. I also had all the special issues that were released in that time period but what really had my attention was the Knuckles comics that ran for about 30 issues. At least in my opinion they were better written than the actual Sonic issues, and the backstory for the Echidna race and Knuckles' family in particular was great.
