Allegedly, Sonic Forces was in production for four years. However, according to Kotaku, the first three years of development were spent building a new engine, while the team assigned to make the game only had one year to make the actual game.
When do does everybody think that they'll play Silent Hill 4 so as to complete the Silent Hill series?
I'm excluding the Silent Hill game that decided to be a role-playing game.

Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.I actually came up with what I think is a really good idea last night.
A Sonic the Hedgehog game...
Developed by Platinum.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.I was freaking out so hard when I saw this last night XD Also glad that Pat's apparently not playing, especially considering how he was in Tormentum.

That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.What happened there?
Pat decided to be a piece of shit at the end because of the binary morality system.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.its time to do the odyssey
Yeah, I'm going to go ahead and skip the KOTOR series. Safe to say all their opinions and knowledge of Star Wars is about the same as the boys at RLM. Call me a snob, but I can't handle 20+ episodes of prequel/EU bashing.
Find the Light in the DarkSo Pockets is going Dark Side.
I don't know how Pat feels about the prequels, but if his the conversation about vibroblades is anything to go by he likes the Expanded Universe.
Ugh, really? Dark Side again? Woolie, I thought you'd be better than Pat.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.I mean, I've never played Kotor, nor have I watched a playthrough, so I'm perfectly happy with either Light Side or Dark Side. I know the game's big spoiler, but other than that I know very little. I can't even name all the companions, though I do know who HK-47 is. Pat's clearly played this before, but I'm curious how much Woolie knows going in. Does he know the big spoiler?
What's wrong with playing the Dark Side? I never finished Ko TOR (the game kept glitching out on my PC). Does it break the game or is it weaker narratively? Or is this part of a joke I'm missing here?
Eh, falls into the sort of trap that KOTOR 2 tries to avert, mainly that in order to go Dark Side you have to be a complete and utter asshole to everyone.
That and I always go the Good route in games like this, so I don't really like DS playthroughs xD
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Isn't the same thing true of being Light side? I mean, the way I understand it, and I've played Jade Empire, is that you have a Light/Dark side meter which is affected by your actions, and the farther you are to one extreme the more powers you get for that alignment. But this creates the problem that, if you're a Light side user for example, doing any Dark side actions moves you away from the Light side, effectively undoing your work trying to go Light side. If you picked Light side choices half the time and Dark side choices the other half you'd stay completely neutral and thus not receive the benefits of a Light OR Dark side character. Ergo, the system encourages you to, at the start of the game, choose either Light side or Dark side and stick with that choice for every single interaction throughout the entire game.
Well in KOTOR you're not really restricted on what powers you use, but the more in tune you are with a certain alignment the less the Force cost is.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Has Woolie ever browbeaten Pat into playing a game he liked? Because between KOTOR and all that Monster Hunter shit on the podcast their relationship feels really one sided.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. Can't really remember. Then again most of what Woolie plays is fighting games, isn't it?
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.They say that the Sith have blockaded the planet and are running around looking for Bastilla. Are the foot-soldiers trained in the ways of the Force? Or are they just grunts? How far up the ladder do you have to go before you meet someone with actual force powers?
No, the soldiers with guns are regular. When Dark Jedi show up in that game, you know.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.This is an image Liam posted on his twitter that I wanted to share.◊
See if you can spot what is wrong with it.

Cursed image.
My various fanfics.
Yeah. At least it's not a full-priced game, and doing all of those other bonus missions and stuff can lengthen it. At the same time I've been debating buying Forces myself (almost never played a Sonic game, the last one was on the Genesis), but if I do I won't buy it unless it's on sale.
