[up] Welcome to the TF fandom. Who's your favorite character?

I really like that Deluxe Skyshadow we got, but this is such a nice piece. Can't wait for Overlord. Disappointed at the removal of Powermasters, but eh, can't do nothing about it.

Titans Return Triggerhappy is a sexy little beast.

Great 'bot mode and stunningly sleek space jet.

He looks like Cyclonus seduced Fox McCloud's Arwing.

Yeah, he's the one TR figure I want.

For TR figures, I've just been sticking with the original Headmasters (except Fortress Maximus). A shame they decided to reduce the Horrorcons to just being Titan Masters...

I'm 1/2 done with Poseidon/Not!Piranacon and the next two members to be released are already looking great. Thousandkills/Not!Tentakill's prototype has already been revealed. Now we just need to see it colored.

Why do decent characters suffer Character Derailment while others get the golden child treatment? Running the Asylum while Armed with Canon.

Yeah, no Horrorcons is a bummer to be sure. I'm hoping one at least get's out down the line (if rumors are to be believed), but it's sad. I hope we get the Deluxe Headmasters too.

Here, have a full preview of Transformers: Lost Light #1 before the big day tomorrow. (LL drops into comic stores and online tomorrow.)

TFormers.com already has an early review for the issue (4 stars) and apparently the issue's got a Spoiler Title thing going. Ooooh, the suspense is killing me...

Well, read it. It does good to set up the future issues and introduce us to some new plots and re-visiting old plots, though it's still got the "We're Quirky (TM)!" humor that Roberts is kind of abusing at this point. Aw well, a decent starter issue.

I will say this about the ending.

I long ago called that Megatron's only out to earn redemption was to send him off to fight the functionist universe and free the people there - doing right where he went wrong. Seeiing as they've just landed there, I am guessing Megatron either doesn't survive his trip there, or elects not to return. The return of Terminus also makes that plot more likely.

Finally got to reading it.

Roberts, you crazy SOB, dumping the newest incarnation of Team Rodimus onto the Functionist Universe.

In seriousness though, I quite loved this issue. I'm really digging the cartoony art style especially. I do wonder if this means we'll be switching between what's happening in the Functionist Universe and what's going on in Necroworld.

Also, the fact that Grimlock appears in Drift's vision tells me that either the mutineers or Team Rodimus or both will finally come across the Scavengers, or Grimlock will split from the Scavengers, either healed enough to be on his own or ditching the Obfuscating Stupidity schtick he might have going, and come across the Rodimus and Co. at some point. (Honestly, I can't be the only one who wants to see Rodimus and friends meeting the Scavengers.)

And now we have to wait again...what joy.

My comic shop just got Deluxe Groove! Awesome. Now if only any store on this island got TR wave 3 or any of the legends figures after Rumble's line.

So the Cybertronians get stuck in space for 65 million years before they make their arrival to earth in Prime? Did Trypticon die?

I really dig the design of the Cybertron games. The last time I like Transformers designs this much is Armada. My only complaint is Optimus' chest.

[up] Trypticon might have died. Its implied he's dormant as the ship. In the novels he transformed into the ship, but the transport put him offline, maybe dead, maybe comatose. The ship comes alive in the Show, but there's no indication of if it's Trypticon.

Scans featuring Godbomber and God Ginrai.

Apparently one of the TFW2005 posters have figured out this:

One thing that's nice about the new Godbomber that was mentioned in the latest Figure King is that his transformation from robot to trailer doesn't require the removal of any parts. When becoming armor he does but not when going from [c]ar mode to robot mode.

No articulate feet but the legs can bend well enough for the feet to stand properly.

What I like most abut the Titans Reborn figures is that with the extra articulation, transforming them is just as much solving a puzzle as it is changing a robot into a car.

It's pretty late, but I got Titans Return Chromedome and Unite Warriors Bruticus for Christmas (although the latter isn't showing until next year sad).

Chromedome's pretty fun, even if the Titan Master's crazy small and he goes great with my other Lost Light members (the Protectobots, Whirl, and Trailcutter).

...is it weird that I feel obligated to find Rewind now?

TR Rewind is a solid figure. I just ordered LG Hardhead.

Titanika review is up. She's a nice Strika.

More TR Kup pics. He looks decent. Like Scourge I prefer the Generations version, but this one's pretty good.

Just read TAAO #6. Elita-One is one hell of a bitch.

Calling it now: Carcer is actually Vector Prime's Titan, Tempo, and Elita-One is keeping Vector Prime imprisoned near the core of "Carcer" because she's a weird space pirate bitch. It helps that Carcer is Latin for "prison."

So, uh, Fun Pub just killed the multiverse... and just about every character who hasn't appeared in recent fiction, like Armada guys or Animated guys, are basically dead until further notice.

Happy new year?
