I'm not seeing how the show is bad at portraying women. It's not a "women be crazy" type of things, it's just CJ's one consistent character flaw coming up once more. That and in comparison to all the other characters, male or female, she's not been presented as any better or worse than anyone as a whole.

Eactly, and if she learns about her flaw more, I'm sure she'll have a character arc that makes her want to improve as a person. Just like how Eileen helped Rigby out with the chin-up bar.

I've been quite behind with Regular Show and only went up to "Benson's Suit". That one was quite enjoyable, and I like that Terminator 2 ending.

"Happy Birthday Song Contest" was also fun mostly due to its simplicity. I hope those cakes show up in future episodes.

You will be very disappointed with the irony in "1000th Chopper flight" then.

TBH, I thought Marg's dad's co-worker would end up being the big bad in that episode.

I still think that Happy Birthday will return.

So, thoughts on the newest episode? I thought it had its moments. Granted, it wasnt the best episode, but after last week we needed a sillier episode. Would have been nice to see Skips show up though (after all, he's pretty much seen ALL of American history).

[up][up]As opposed to all the other episodes with wacky plots that were so important?

To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."

Say what you want, but The Happy Birthday episode was a huge relationship booster for Mordecai and C.J., who also... shares his love... of eating cakes!tongue

I'm just saying, it makes no sense to call an episode filler for doing what the show is known for.

I somehow want a amv of the Steven Universe song Stronger being played to the episode of Benson's Suit. |D

So the newest episode was great. It had the feel of the older episodes where there was more of a threat (in this case, the park being shut down), while still having the traditional RS humor, and the ending was classic. That said, can they give Skips something to do this season? He(and HFG and Pops for that matter) has pretty much been relegated to the background, despite having lots of potential for stories.

[up] This - I don't think I've felt this legit entertained by RS in a while (as in the whole cast being involved.)... I can only hope what's in store this week can match "Men In Uniform".

I hope they explore more on that lollipop man's backstory. Seems like his grudge has something to explore.

Watch "Really real wrestling" for said backstory.

The bit where Benson says he hates Mr. Maellard and Pops says, “But he’s my father” is simultaneously the funniest and most heartbreaking thing in this episode.

As someone who works in a park and wears a uniform, I can identify with this episode.

Well, I asked for them to do something with Pops, and we at least got an episode where he was part of the main plot. Now can we get an episode for Skips?

So... Before I begin, can somebody explain to me why exactly CJ has been labelled as The Scrappy? I don't quite understand that.
