That's if you believe Uryu received any power. Yhwach says he's given Uryu a Schrift, and Haschwalth believes it. Am I the only one who thinks it weird for Yhwach to be capable of Schrifting a soul he couldn't Auswahlen?

He most likely did. Uryuu drank his blood. Hashbrowns even mentions how he unintentionally bound himself to Yhwach as result in his attempt to get close and betray him.

x5 Yeah, I know he drank the blood. I also don't think Uryuu joined to avenge his mother. The decision to join was probably made after Ebern appeared and is the real reason Uryuu couldn't go to Hueco Mundo. I think Urahara knew, hence his suspicious intervention into the scene (which Ichigo lampshaded).

My personal thought is Uryu is on the Quincy side... but not necessarily on Yhwach's side.

1st invasion Not Yhwach states alot of the SR are taking thier time due to being immature, implying that alot of the current SR are new. This seems to be reinforced by As Nodt's flash back and Robert's lament

but then we get Bazz-B's flashback and now Lille just claimed he is the Last quincy to receive his Schrift yet Lille has been talking like he is an older veteran. -lets not bring up isn't Uryu the last person to get a schrift-

Ichigo probably can't grasp it because he knows he would never make that kind of decision. It's Ichigo's heart instinctively telling him Uryuu has a reason based on information Ichigo doesn't have.

I feel like Bazz-B vs Hitsugaya was the last time it seemed like a Soul Reaper was really in danger.

What Lillie ment was that he was the last PURE BLOODED QUINCY to become a sternritter, and the way I see it some of the sternritter are new ones and the others are from a thousand years ago.

We know for a fact that some Quincies are a thousand years old and some are new, but Lille being the last pure Quincy to be empowered is guesswork. I'm not saying your interpretation is wrong, and it would be one way for Lille to be accurate despite Uryuu's later arrival.

So I was looking through the sexism in anime thread and Bleach was mentioned in context of anime/manga dads being horrible is sexist. And that got mentioned about Isshin's treatment of Ichigo in all the ways you can expect but also something about him sexually harassing Yuzu and Karin and I don't remember that happening.

Does anyone else remember him doing things that can be construed as that because for the most part he just seemed to be over eager to spend time for with them but nothing about it ever came off as sexual to me.

It's back in the Grand Fisher arc- I can't remember exactly where off the top of my head, but I know exactly what's it's referring to because I remember reacting the way you seem to reacting now.

It's a one-page gag, but it's absolutely a thing that happened.
