So, FMA 2003 then?
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."That was a borderline Downer Ending, really.
Here, I see it as... kinda like Komamura's Pyrrhic Victory. Something like that is what I expect from Bleach's epilogue.
In RWBY, every girl is Best Girl. The closest to a bittersweet ending I can see for this series would be someone from the main cast dying, but other than that, nothing too bleak really.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.This.
I'm expecting a relatively happy ending for our heroes.
"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."Chad dies, becomes king of Hueco Mundo, and marries Halibel.
Orihime dies, and becomes Soul Queen.
Kon dies, and Saiga cheers.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI'd cheer for that as well.
Or, you know, Ichigo becoming the Spirit King and being isolated from the rest of his friends forever.
That'd be more bitter to the fans who don't want Ichigo to be the Spirit King, though.
In RWBY, every girl is Best Girl.Ichigo becomes permanent Soul Death God Reaper and goes on many chaste coffee dates with Rukia?
Forever liveblogging the AvengersThat seems kinda lame. :V
"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."If it happens, don't complain.
In RWBY, every girl is Best Girl."Leaving you guys will be the hardest thing I've ever done"
"Lets be honest Ichigo, leaving, ignoring, or neglecting us is 50% of what you do."
"I'll miss you most of all, muscle friend."
Speaking of Rukia, anyone notice she seems rather neglected this arc? True, she's still fought, but as one Soul Reaper among many fighting the Quincies. Meanwhile it's the oft-neglected Chad and Orihime who are going to the final confrontation.

Brilliant, Bocaj-senpai.
Leave, rescue, leave, rescue, it's the strawberry two-step.
The sad, REAL American dichotomy(Fighting in Fake Karakura town)
Yumichika Fights and Wins, but says that he would have given his life rather than reveal his power.
Ikkaku Fights and Loses, gets lectured that hiding his power is bad.
Broken Aesop anyone?

It's not broken. They were both wrong; Yumichika was just put in a different position.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyAnd then we have Kenpachi being told to not hold back. The lesson seems to be Squad 11's entire philosophy is broken and self-serving and basically counterproductive to what they're supposed to be doing.

11th Squad are all idiots
What was in your right hand is hope; And in another hand is something else to fade.Which is why they're the frontline.
‘My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’Aren't they all dead now? I am pretty sure the Femritters killed them all.
Except that it worked for Yumichika this time when it immediately backfired on someone else.
That he was put in a different position that allowed it to work is why it breaks the Aesop no? (Not even mentioning how Kenpachi does it with success :P. Besides Kenpachi doesn't do it to death, not that long before this he fought Nnoitra and he ended up going farther than he wanted to because of his responsibility)

Whatever happened to Lisa?
The sad, REAL American dichotomyWasn't she in the Wot L with Hachi and Hiyori?
‘My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’What about Lisa?
What was in your right hand is hope; And in another hand is something else to fade.
Bleach strikes me as the type to have a Bittersweet Ending. Perhaps with Ichigo permanently isolated from his friends or something. It doesn't appear that most Sternritter will survive, and the bitter part of that will definitely be that yet another genocide occurred.
