I think it's a minor misuse of "unpleasable fanbase" to use that to describe being disliking the Femritters. Really not a problem if people do dislike them, and I also think it's weird to treat people writing essays about how a character sucks as being better than disliking them on minor things. Frankly I think if you're getting into that much detail you've got a problem.

@Saiga, you have a point about long criticism or short criticisms. If someone says they dislike a character I may disagree with them, but I'm usually willing to not say anything unless they constantly bring it up or their reasons don't mesh well with what's been shown in the story.
I'm usually too lazy to actually tackle really long posts and if problems amount to "I don't like this character because I don't" I really don't see a reason to make a fuss.

Honestly, I can deal with people who say "I don't like this character just cause" better than those who write blocks of text about why they think a particular character sucks. (I'm not talking about anyone in particular by the way

That is a wonderful train of thought. You can extend it to include what if Gremmy was in Emna Korogi and imagined seeing Tosen, would it really be Tosen or a fake Tosen that voodoo'd damage to the real one.
