Large biomes were 1.3 and some major mods still haven't updated. Redpower is now finally in very early private alpha but no idea if it will make it before 1.4. Thaumcraft 3 is expected to come out after 1.4 sometime. Equivilant Exchange, nobody has any idea at the moment, including the dev, I think.

If they count as hostile an attack rune could solve that.

Actually, isn't there a rune combo which kills everything near it?

Or you could set up a Tesla coil and an item-pulling rune, so that any animal which gets in is quickly killed and the items are farmed.

Anyway, I accidentally discovered that Technic has Chairs. Put some planks in a backwards L shape.

Zersk: You usually have more options for food. If you can find some ocean or "oak trees" you can suss out your food supplies a bit.

Well I don't usually have the patience for fishing. Suppose that's my fault. :p

Taint removal was going so slow I decided on drastic measures. There's a rune combo that essentially drains both vis and taint from the atmosphere at a ratio of 1:1. So on the plus side taint is no longer spreading. On the downside I've got damn near zero aura and still around 1000 taint. I've started setting up totems of dawn all over but they're damn slow.

I discovered that the infernal armor's explosion fucks up taint. So any left over purple stuff is getting blown the fuck up and then mowed over. Once that's complete I'll officially have completed my RP's goals. I'll then be switching to a techy and focusing on gathering all the oils and refining it plus some other goals I haven't yet decided on.

Have you seen those mass taint removal devices that people've built? :o

I haven't seen one, no. Ze taint is contained now but I could probably use one for another world.

Check this shit out, y'all.

Some of those devices are rather costly to make.

teel-deer explaination: You need to put a concentrated darkness (or whatever it's called) upgrade into a condenser to get it out of the air, and run it through a purifier. Both are researched items on the tainted branch.

Do you guys know if there's a way to make crystals grow faster?

Also, I keep getting a constant 40% taint charge whenever I'm using the crucible plus bellows plus arcane furnace setup. Anyone else have that?
