So, what do you think of the current story arc? I, for one, am hoping that this new villain is even more epic than Mechakara. I also have to say that Linkara pulls story arcs off incredibly well while still keeping in the reviews.

Speaking of the Mechakara showdown, how did Linkara, '90s Kid and Ninja Style Dancer appear on screen simultaneously? (Serious question. I want to be able to make something like that.) And how did he make the Linkara v. Mechakara fight so convincing? (I am talking, of course, about the bits where they're beating the snot out of each other. And using convincing as a relative term.) Actually, if Lewis is so awesome he can do a relatively good video of his alter-egos punching each other, why did Linkara, Kid and Ninja have to be so far apart and Harvey completely offscreen?

Moreover, if Lewis can do this, why doesn't he show Doug how so we don't have all those cuts back-and-forth when he wants Nostalgia Critic, Bum and Ask That Guy in the same room? (I mean, whatever editing technique Lewis is using would've come in really handy during the Y1 Brawl.) Then again, for all I know, this is a recent skill that will lead to all the characters played by everyone uniting for the Y3 event. (Speaking of which—Warrior 2 & 3. Even assuming that Lewis isn't so awesome that he can get ten people fighting themselves with his hotel computer, why couldn't they just have the Team TGWT Gers beat up Insanos that weren't themselves? Why just cut to black, and omit What Could Have Been a really awesome action sequence?)

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.

He has a brother that he uses as a stunt double in fight scenes. Also, for the splicing, he used Double Vision.

Anyone who assigns themselves loads of character tropes is someone to be worried about.

^^ It's been a while, but I seem to remember Spoony going on at length in the commentary for his Clones Of Bruce Lee review about how difficult it is to pull off.

The last couple of days, I've had the ending to his review of The Dark Knight Strikes Again #3 stuck in my head. It's one of the most awesome things he's ever done, if for no other reason than the music was perfect ("Finale" from Batman leading into "Sweet Dreams" by the Eurythmics).

I'm bumping this thread because apparently a dozen people don't know it exists and keep posting A 4 F stuff on the TGWTG thread.

Oh yeah, forgot about this.

So yeah, the collaborative singing of the theme song was awesome, agreed?

I'm sort of over Atopthe Fourth Wall.

It used to be a lot more fun, but lately it isn't doing it for me. Maybe it's because Linkara is starting to grate on my nerves, not because of his voice or his acting, or the numerous storylines that seem like they're trying too hard, but because Linkara isn't that big of an authority.

I'm at a point where a lot of the stuff he says bothers me because it's actually not that insightful, and his arguments are too simplistic or ill-constructed. It's listening to someone who thinks he's a lot smarter than he really is.

Same here. I wish self-proclaimed critics would stick to critique, rather than GCSE level drama plots. :/

New review. Featuring POWERHOUSE EXCITEMENT!

What other videos has Lewis added a Weird Al Polka song to on the end? I know it appeared in a couple of the Elite Force LP videos. Was there anything else?

What video featured Linkara reenacting the Magnificent Bastard scene from Patton?

Also question for some of you guys: as someone who only follows NC and Linkara's videos, do you think I'd get anything from the TGWTG crossover videos? The only one I've watched before is the Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny that had the Nerd in it, and I'll admit upfront that was what got me to watch it.

@Main Man: The videos Linkara did with Spoony are probably both of their best work; they're listed in the AT4W section under Warrior #1 and Warrior #2 - #3. And I say this as someone who isn't fond of Spoony.

Linkara also collaborated with Film Brain on a review of The Spirit movie, which was pretty good and got me into Bad Movie Beatdown.

Oh, and "Linking Up With Linkara" is awesome.

Comics to come.

Is it sad that I'm probably anticipating Brute Force #2 moreso than Batman's origin stories?

Oh, and listening to JewWario's stream, I just want to give Iron Liz a hug, after her discussion of her depression.

Oh yay, these comics are back. On the plus side the little twist on the end was really cool. 'spose I should've seen it coming, what with Finevoice and all, though.

"Hey ''F-Face"?

I get his philosophy and all and in fact I would do the exact same, but that felt too obvious.

I just finished the review, Mein Gott, he sounds so furious near the end, I mean you know something is wrong when his screaming isn't of a higher pitch.

Interesting foreshadowing through, Iron Liz and Harvey not actually being there proves to be very very interesting indeed.

I honestly want to meet the writer of this crap, because he probably needs to be checked into his own sanatorium.

This is tied with a certain Machinima I saw a commentary of for "Worst Thing I Have Seen Today."
